Proverbs 18:10

The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run to it and are safe.

Call upon the name of the Lord at all times.

2 Chronicles 7:14

If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your love and care to me. Thank You for Your amazing grace that saves me. Thank You Lord Jesus, for the great sacrifice You made to save me.

Lord, I confess my sins, and I humbly ask You to forgive me and cleanse me from all unrighteousness.

Lord, I pray that You will  draw me closer to You each and every day. I yearn for a closer relationship with You dear Lord.

Lord, please continue to lead, guide and direct my life according to Your will, and help me to be pleasing to You in all that I do and say.

And Lord, please heal our land, I pray. In Jesus name. Amen.

 

1 Chronicles 29:10

Therefore king David blessed the Lord before all the assembly and David said:

” Blessed are You, Lord God of Israel, our Father forever and ever.”

“Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power and the glory, the victory and the majesty; for all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours.”

“Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and You are exalted as head over all.”

2 Kings 6:8,15,16,17

Now the king of Syria was trying to make war against Israel.

And the man of God,  Elisha the prophet sent and told the king of Israel ” beware for the Syrians are coming down to Israel.

And the Syrians sent horses and chariots and a great army there, and they came by night and surrounded the city.

Now when the servant of the man of God  arose early and went outside, there was a great army surrounding the city with horses and chariots.

And his servant said to him, “alas, my master, what shall we do?

And the man of God (Elisha) answered, ” Do not fear for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”

And Elisha prayed, and said, ” Lord, I pray open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw.

And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

Psalms 92:1-2

It is good to give thanks to the Lord, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High.

To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, and Your faithfulness every night.

1 Kings 8

O God, forgive Your people who have sinned against You, forgive all their transgressions that they have transgressed against You, and grant them compassion.

Hear in heaven, Your dwelling place; hear our prayer and our supplication, and when You hear, forgive.

2 Samuel 22:47

The Lord lives! Blessed be my Rock! Let God be exalted, the Rock of my salvation!

It is God who avenges me, and subdues the peoples under me. He delivers me from my enemies.

You also lift me up above those who rise up against me. You have delivered me from the violent person.

Psalms 29:2

Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

2 Samuel 7:22

Therefore, You are great O Lord God, for there is none like You, nor is there any God besides You, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

1 Samuel 16:7

But the Lord said to Samuel, ” Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him.”

” For the Lord does not see as man see , for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

People tend to value the outer appearance of other people.

But God is telling us in the Bible, that the outer appearance of someone is not important to Him.

God values the heart of people, not their outer appearance.

The Bible says, That God looks down from heaven to see if there is anyone who seeks Him with all their heart and their soul and mind.

Seeking the Lord and putting God first in your life, this is what is important to God.
