1 Thessalonians 4:7-8

For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness.

Therefore those who reject this does not reject man, but God Who has also given us His Holy Spirit.

Psalms 25:1-5

To You, O Lord, I lift up my soul.

O my God, I trust in You. Let me not be ashamed; let not my enemies triumph over me.

Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed; let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause.

Show me Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths.

Lead me in Your truth and teach me.

For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day.

1 John 1:7-9

If we walk in the light as God is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If we are living in the light of God’s presence, just as Christ does, then we have wonderful fellowship and joy with each other, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from every sin.(NLT)

Psalms 136

Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercies endures forever.

Oh, give thanks to the God of gods! For His mercy endures forever.

Oh, give thanks to the Lord of lords! For His mercy endures forever.

Oh, give thanks to the God of Heaven. To Him Who divided the Red Sea in two. And made the Israel pass through the midst of it.

But overthrew Pharaoh  and his army in the Red Sea.

Give thanks to God Who led His people through the wilderness.

To Him Who struck down great kings.

O give thanks to the God who remembered us in our lowly estate.

And rescues us from all our enemies.

Who gives food to all flesh.

Oh, give thanks to God of Heaven! For His mercies endures forever.

 

 

Matthew 4:17

Jesus preached and said, “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.”

|Jesus says, ” The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand. Repent and believe in the gospel.

Jesus is telling us to repent of our sins and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, for His coming is very near.

 

Genesis 1:1

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Revelation 4:11

“You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power; for You created all things, and by Your will they exit and were created.”

 

 

Ephesians 1:13,John 8:32, John 14:6, John 17:3

In God you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.

His presence within us (the Holy Spirit) is God’s guarantee that He really will give us all that He promised.

And the Holy Spirit’s seal upon us means that God has already saved us, and that He guarantees to bring us to Himself. This is one more reason for us to praise and glorify God.

God has given us the Holy Spirit so that we may know the truth.

What is the truth?

The truth of the gospel is that Jesus died for our sins, and to reconcile us back to God.

He rose again on the 3rd day, and He is now in heaven with God, our Heavenly Father.

He will return again to receive all those who have accepted Him as their personal Saviour and Lord,  so that where He is, there we will be also.

So if we confess our sins, and accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour, we will be saved in God’s Eternal Kingdom.

Jesus says, ” you shall know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Free from what? Free from the penalty of sin – which is eternal death and destruction.

Jesus says, ” I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one come to the Father except through Me.”

The only way for us to be reconciled to God is through Jesus Christ our Saviour and Lord.

And when we accept Jesus and are reconciled to God, we will receive the gift of eternal life.

It is not God’s will that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance. ( and inherit eternal life through Jesus Christ.)

Jesus says, ” And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”

Psalms 31:1

In You, O Lord, I put my trust; let me never be ashamed; be my rock of refuge, a fortress of defense to save me.

You are my rock and my fortress; therefore for Your name’s sake, lead me and guide me.

You have redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.

The Lord lives! Blessed be my rock! Let the God of my salvation be exalted.

Jeremiah 29:11-13, 24:7, 30:22, Psalms 50:15

” For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, ad I will listen to you.

And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.

Then I will give them  a heart to know Me, that I am the Lord; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God, for they shall return to Me with their whole heart.

You shall be My people and I will be Your God.

2 Timothy 4:16-18, Psalms 121:7-8

Paul, the Apostle wrote these words as he was going through some difficult times while preaching the gospel message.

He also had to appear before King Agrippa to explain his preaching of the gospel message.

Paul writes,  ” At my first defense, no one stood with me, but all forsook me, may it not be charged against them.”

“But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that the message might be preached fully through me, and that all the Gentiles might hear. Also I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.”

“And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His Heavenly Kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen.”

The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul.

The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and forevermore.
