Daily Bible Verses

Romans 1:16-17

I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ,  because it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, first for the Jew, then the Gentile.

For in the gospel the righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written; ” the righteous will live by faith.”

I am not ashamed of the Good news of salvation through Christ Jesus. It is God’s powerful method of bringing us all who believe to live with Him in heaven.

This message was first preached to the Jews, but now to the Gentiles – to all the world. Now everyone is invited to come to God the same way.

The Good News of Salvation tells us that God makes us ready for Heaven – makes us right in God’s sight – when we put our faith and trust in Jesus to save us.

This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Holy Scriptures puts it, ” The person who inherits eternal life will find it through faith and trusting in God, and accepting Jesus as their person Saviour and Lord.

Daily Bible Verses

Matthew 7:13-14

Jesus says, ” Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.”

“Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”

The majority of people are never going or doing the right thing. The majority of people want to do their own thing, not realizing that they will end up in hell fire, because they have chosen to reject Christ Jesus, and His sacrifice to save them.

The majority live a very rebellious and evil life. Jesus says, “they are on the broad road that leads to destruction.”

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. The narrow road leads to Christ Jesus, and few want to take that road, because they want to do their own thing.

Those on the narrow road have accepted Jesus as their personal Saviour and Lord, and have been forgiven of all their sins. They will inherit eternal life when Jesus returns, and will live forever in heavenly places.

The narrow road leads to life eternal.

The broad road leads to hell and destruction.

I encourage you to take the narrow road – accept Jesus as your personal Saviour and Lord, and you will be saved and receive the crown of life – eternal life.

Daily Bible Verses

Psalms 91 (continue)

Because you have made the Lord who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place.

No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways.

In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.

You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.

Because your have set your love upon Me, therefore I will deliver you, I will set you on high, because you have known My name.

You shall call upon Me, and I will answer you, I will be with you in trouble; I will deliver you and honour you, with long life I will satisfy you, and show you My salvation.

Daily Bible Verses

Psalms 91

We who dwells in the secret place of the Most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God in Him I trust.

Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the perilous pestilence.

He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.

You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.

Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked.

To be continued.

Daily Bible Verses

Proverbs 15:1

A soft answer turns away wrath, but greivous words stir up anger.

Sometimes when we are angry, it may be because of something someone says.

The Bible says, “The tongue is a little member of the body, but it can do enormous damage. the tongue is full of wickedness corrupting the whole body – set on fire by hell.

People can use their words to injure others, sometimes intentional, sometimes unintentional.

We as Christians should not be afraid to tell someone that what they have said is injurious. They may not be aware of what they are saying because their mind is so warped, so when we call them on their warped words, we could be helping them to realize their wrongdoing.

Job 6:24 “Teach me, and I will hold my tongue, help me to understand what I have said wrong.”

Some people we may not be able to help, so we need to protect ourselves from their injurious words as much as we can, because it can affect us spiritually, physically, emotional and mentally.

As christians we should be aware of what we say and the words we use, especially when we are upset about something.

Job 27:4 says, “My lips will not speak any evil or  wickedness, and  my tongue will speak no lie.”

And if we say something out of anger that we know we should not have said, we should be able to recognize that what we have said is wrong and sinful and ask for forgiveness.

Psalms 37:40 “The mouth of the righteousness speak wisdom, and their tongue talk of justice.”

We sin in words, in what we do and what we think about, so that is the reason why we need to ask God to forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness on a daily basis.

Those who use their words to harm and injure others are committing an evil act and it is sinful.

Proverbs 21:23 “Whoever guards their mouth and tongue, keeps their soul from trouble.”

“My tongue shall speak no evil, and lips shall speak no lie.”

Daily Bible Verses

Hebrews 9:28

Jesus was offered once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of humanity.

Jesus is coming again, not as a sacrifice this time, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for Him.

Jesus came the first time as a sacrifice for all our sins. He shed His precious blood to save us.

The Bible says, “Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins.” (forgiveness or exoneration of sin)

Jesus shed His blood to redeem us, and He offers to everyone who accepts Him – the free gift of salvation.

Everyone who accepts Jesus will receive forgiveness of their sins. Because of what Jesus did, we will be exonerated, forgiven of our sins, and be redeemed back to our Creator God.

Jesus is coming back again to give His people a crown of life – eternal life.

Daily Bible Verses

Matthew 6:33-34

Jesus says, “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will added to you.”

“Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”

What are these things? what to eat, what to wear, how to pay the bills etc.

Whatever your needs are God knows about them. He tells us to seek His kingdom first and His righteousness and your needs will be met.

God will provide if you put Him first in your life. You should not worry about temporal things, but seek eternal things.

Jesus also tells us not to worry about the future (tomorrow), because today has enough trial and troubles, just take one day at a time.

Pray everyday and tell God all your concerns. He will make a way for you where there seems to be no way. Just continue to trust and have faith in God.
