Daily Bible Verses

Do you want to know how to get to heaven?

Step 2.

Humanity is separated from God because of sin.

What is sin?

Sin is the violation of God’s law, including the 10 commandments.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

We have all done things, said things, thought about things that are below the standard of God, and that is sinful. Sin is also disobedience to God, and rebellion against God.

The Bible says. We are all born sinful, and if we say we have no sin we deceive ourselves. 1 John 1:8

Now this sinful nature has separated us from God.

But there is hope.

God sent Jesus to redeemed us back to Him.

Jesus shed His precious blood to save us. He was crucified on the cross, He was buried, God resurrected Him on the 3rd day, and He is alive and in Heaven.

There had to be a penalty for sin, and Jesus paid the penalty.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.

God loves us so much that He had to do something to redeem us, and to save us from death and destruction. So He sent Jesus.  Jesus died to save us, and to reconcile us back to God.

John 14:6

Jesus says ” I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father, except through Me.”

1 John 1:8-9

“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

“If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.”

John 1:12

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.

So to receive Jesus as your Saviour and Lord, you can say this prayer.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I believe that Jesus died on the cross to save me. I accept Jesus as my personal Saviour and Lord.  I ask You to forgive me of all  my sins, and cleanse me of all unrighteousness.

Lord, please help me to be ready to meet You when You return. Also, please increase my faith in You each and every day. Help me to be pleasing to You. Lord, also help me to be faithful to the end, and you will give me a crown of life, and I will receive the gift of eternal life. Thank You Lord for loving me.

In Jesus name Amen.

Now that you have received Jesus as your personal Saviour and Lord, you are now Heaven bound.

Read your Bible daily.

Pray every day. The Bible says to ” pray without ceasing.” (we should always be willing, ready and eager to pray).

In your prayer, ask the Lord to help you to develop a personal relationship with Him. And to increase your faith and trust in Him daily.

Also, now that you have accepted Jesus as your personal Saviour and Lord,  live with the assurance that you will be spending  eternity in heaven with your Creator God, and Jesus your Saviour.

Live with eternity in mind.

Daily Bible Verses

What must I do to be saved?

You may be wondering what must I do in order to go heaven?

Do you want assurance of eternal life through Christ Jesus?

Step 1.

John 3:16

For God so loved us that He gave His only Son to die for our sins, that whoever believes on Him, should not perish but have eternal life.

Romans 10: 9,10,13

If you declare with your mouth that “Jesus is Lord” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

For it is with the heart that you believe and are justified (made right with God), and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Luke 19:10

Jesus came to seek and to save that which was lost.

Humanity was lost in sin and headed for destruction and eternal death.

Jesus Christ our Saviour came to earth to save humanity. He died on the cross, and God raised Him from the dead.

He is now in Heaven making intercession for us. Jesus is our advocate in Heaven.

Jesus took the penalty of sin on Himself, so that we who accept Him may inherit eternal life.

If we accept Jesus as our Saviour and Lord, He is faithful and just to forgive us of all our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

To be continued.

James 5:8

You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.

Brethren, you are waiting for the Lord’s return, be patient, like a farmer who waits until the autumn for his precious harvest to ripen. Yes, be patient. And be of good courage, for the coming of the Lord is near.

Daily Bible Verses Daniel 3 (NKJV) (NLT)

Story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and the burning fiery furnace.

Part 2.

Then Nebuchadnezzar was full of fury and he was very angry with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.

The king ordered that the furnace be heated up seven times hotter than usual, and he called for some of the strongest men in the army to bind Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and throw them into the fire.

So the army men bound them tight with ropes and threw them into the furnace fully clothed and bound with ropes.  And because the king was so angry and demanded that the furnace be seven times  hotter, the flames leaped out and killed the soldiers who threw them in.

Then as king Nebuchadnezzar was watching, he was astonished as he looked, and he jumped up in amazement and said to his magistrates and governors. “Did we not throw three men into the furnace? “True” they answered.

“Look” Nebuchadnezzar said, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire and they are not hurt, and the forth, is like the “Son of God.”

Then Nebuchadnezzar went near to the entrance of the burning furnace and spoke saying ” Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out and come here.” Then Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego came out from the midst of the fire.

All the administrators, governors, counselors, captains and magistrates gathered around them, and saw that the fire hadn’t touched them, the fire had no power over their bodies – not a hair of their head was singed; their clothes was unscorched, and they didn’t even smell of smoke.

Then Nebuchadnezzar spoke saying, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who sent His Angel and delivered His servants who trust in Him.”

They have defied the king’s law, and were willing to die, rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.”

“Therefore” said the king Nebuchadnezzar, “I make a decree that any people, any nation, or any language, who speaks anything against the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces and their houses made an ash heap, because there is no other God who can deliver like this.”

Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the province of Babylon.

Our God, the true and living God delivered Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego from the burning fiery furnace, because they were obedient to Him and would not worship any graven image or any other gods.

Heavenly Father, thank You for being mighty to save and strong to deliver Your people. You are the only true and living God. The Great Creator and Sustainer of all life, the breath we breathe comes from You.  What an awesome God You are. We give You all the honour, and we praise and worship You. In Jesus name.  Amen.
