Proverbs 16:20

Whoever trusts in the Lord, happy are they.

Inspiration.

Our happiness and joy is in trusting, having faith, hope in the Creator God, Who created us.

And in Jesus Christ, our Saviour and Redeemer.

And obeying HIs Holy Scriptures that gives us strength for today and hope for tomorrow.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal Father and Holy God,

You are so loving, compassionate, merciful, kind, good and of tender mercies.

You are the only true and living God, and there is none but You.

You are mighty to save and strong to deliver Your children from sin and destruction.

My faith, hope and trust is in You, O Lord, because You always have my best interests in mind.

Please help me to become all that You created me to be.

Even when I do not understand why some things happen, nevertheless I will trust, have faith and hope in You, because I am confident that You will make everything work out for my good.

Lord, please help me to continue to walk in the paths of righteousness and keep going forward in faith – regardless of what happens.

O Lord, You are the joy of my salvation.

O Lord, true joy and happiness only comes from having faith,  acknowledging You in my life and trusting and obeying You.

And having the blessed hope of Your soon coming to receive those of us who have been redeemed from sin and destruction by Your great sacrifice of love for us.

I pray that You will help me to continue to trust and obey, have faith, hope so that I can be happy and content in the fact that I know You, and have accepted You, Lord Jesus, and my sins are forgiven.

And I am saved, sanctified and redeemed.

In Jesus’ precious name, I pray. Amen.

 

 

 

Colossians 3:12-13

Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, patience.

Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if any has a complaint against another; ever as Christ Jesus forgave you, so you also must do.

Inspiration.

Although we are not able to have these holy traits on our own, we can ask Jesus, and the Holy Spirit to help us to be humble and forgive others as He has forgiven us.

So let us be forgiving as Jesus has forgiven us, Jesus alone can help us.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal God,

I am so glad to be part of the family of God, Your beloved, and I have been washed in the fountain and cleansed by the precious blood of Jesus, my Saviour.

Lord Jesus, please help me to forgive others as You have forgiven me.

And if anyone has done me anything, if I have a complaint against someone, please be with me as I speak to them about it.

And if they are willing to acknowledge what they have done, then it will be well with us.

As Jesus says, ” if someone does something contrary to you, you should tell them, and if they are willing to listen, and acknowledge their faults, then you have won them over. ( paraphase)

And even if they are not willing to admit their fault and their contrary ways, please help me to still forgive them and not to hold any bitterness.

O Lord Jesus, You know that I cannot do this by myself, so I ask for Your help and guidance to forgive anyone who has sin against me.

I know that I can only do this with Your help and guidance, so please help me I pray, because I want to forgive as You have forgiven me.

I thank You, praise, honour and adore You, O Lord God Almighty, for Your help, guidance, protection and leading me in the holy and perfect Christ-like way.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen

 

 

 

 

Matthew 7:13-14

Jesus says, ” Enter by the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.”

” Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”

Inspiration.

Jesus tells us the ” broad way” (the world’s way) leads to destruction, and the majority of people are on the broad way, on the way to destruction.

But He says ” the narrow way” is the way that leads to life eternal, and less people are on the the narrow way.

Prayer (for you)

Our Heavenly Father,

Thank You for sending Jesus to redeem me back to You, and for Your Holy Scriptures that ” is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”

Lord Jesus, thank You for redemption through Your precious blood, and for telling me and showing me the way to be saved in Your Eternal Kingdom.

Please help me to stay on the narrow pathway – the holy path, the Christian pathway that leads to life eternal.

Because we live in a sinful world, trials and problems will come to everyone, but with Jesus by my side, I know that I can be victorious and be a conqueror over sin and the devil.

I pray and ask You dear Lord, to help me, lead, guide and direct me and help me to focus on You, on glory, and keep pressing on, going forward in faith.

Lord Jesus, I know that You are coming soon because signs of the times are everywhere.

What a wonderful and glorious day that will be when I will see You face to face, my Lord and Saviour.

Lord, I give You all the glory, honour, praise and thanks that You deserve.

Psalms 37:4

Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires your heart.

Inspiration.

When we make the Lord God, our delight, our joy and our salvation, He will bless us, and our desires will be what He has for  us.

Prayer (for you)

O Lord God,

You are my delight and the joy of my salvation.

My faith, hope, trust and joy is in You.

I delight in You, and I pray that Your desire for me will also be the desire of my heart.

O Lord, You see and know what I do not.

You are the Eternal God.

So I leave everything in Your loving, caring and protecting Hands, and I will delight in the God of my salvation.

O Lord God, You know all my desires, so I will wait on You for all my desires.

O Lord God Almighty, I pray that Your desire for me will also be my desire.

I know that You love me with an Infinite, abundant and everlasting love,.

O Lord,  I delight in You, because I know that You have my best interests in mind, and You will  give me the best and perfect desires.

I bless, praise, exalt, magnify and exalt You.

Philippians 4:6

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

Inspiration.

Pray about everything, whether it is a major or minor issue – take it to the Lord in prayer.

Always seek God in prayer and tell Him what concerns you, what is making you anxious, anything on your mind.

This is a quote by Charles Stanley.

” It is no wonder that we feel apprehensive when we measure our troubles against our ability to handle them.”

” Anxiety, however, disappears when we learn to take our concerns to God.”

” He is the only One Who has the power and wisdom to deal with every issue perfectly.”

“This is why we stand tallest and strongest on our knees.”

” When we are submitted to the One Who always works in our bests interest, we know we have absolutely nothing to fear.”

We can pray on our knees, standing up, sitting down, lying down, walking, even driving – of course with our eyes open.

God is with us and God is for us.

Prayer. (for you)

Our Heavenly Father,

What a privilege I have to bring everything to You in prayer.

I thank You  for the assurance that You always hear my cry, my prayer, and You  will answer with Your best for me.

Please help me to not be anxious about anything, but bring  every concern, care, challenge or problem to You in prayer.

Knowing with total confidence that You can take care of everything for me, and You have a solution to every issue, every problem.

O Lord, You are a God Who sees and knows everything, and You will do for me what I cannot do for myself.

So please help me not to worry or fret about anything, but instead have faith, hope and trust in You, because You are all-powerful, all-wise God, and can do for me what I cannot do for myself.

You are the Great Creator God, and nothing is impossible for You to do.

I pray and ask for Your leading, guidance, and that You help me to  always remember  that You are just a prayer away, and You will show me and lead me in the perfect way.

O Lord, I thank You for Your loving kindness, tender mercies, compassions, forgiveness and redemption.

2 Peter 3:18

Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.

Inspiration.

God desires that we grow spiritually, mentally and emotionally in the knowledge of the truth of what life is all about, and of His saving grace.

And we can do that by reading and meditating on His Holy Scriptures, and seeking the Lord in prayer.

Then our minds will renewed by the Holy Scriptures and we will understand more about our Creator God.

We will understand more about His love and His saving grace towards us.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal Father in Heaven,

Holy is thy name.

I praise and glorify You, O loving, merciful and compassionate Lord.

Please help me grow in Your grace, Your favour, and in more knowledge and understanding of You.

Please renew my mind, my spirit, my emotions by the power of Your Holy Spirit.

O Lord, I desire to have a close personal relationship with You.

Grant it Jesus, is my plea.

I thank You for Your Infinite and abundant, love, Your tender mercies and compassions to me.

Thank You Lord, for doing everything to save and reconcile me, and save me from sin.

I give You thanks, praise, and the honour and glory that is due to You.

Psalms 121:1-2,7

I will lift up my eyes to the hills – from whence comes my help.

My help comes from the Lord, Who made the heaven and earth.

The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul.

Inspiration.

God is our total and complete source of help, comfort, protection, guidance and salvation.

He is the Source and Sustainer of all life.

And He will preserve your soul from sin, from the evil one – the arch-enemy.

Prayer (for you)

Holy and Merciful God,

How great You are.

You are the Great Creator God, Source of life, Breath of life and my Sustainer.

My help comes from You, O Lord.

In You I have faith, hope and in You I trust.

Because You are the God of Infinite love, tender mercies, compassions and pity.

Also You are the only true and living God.

A forgiving, patience, full of pity and compassions for Your creation – Your children.

Thank You for sending Jesus to be my Saviour.

Lord Jesus, thank You for saving me from sin, evil and destruction, and for preserving my soul.

You are the Rock of my salvation, my Refuge and strength when I am weak.

When others fail me, You are my help in the good times as well as in the challenging times.

I will look to You Lord Jesus, for You are the Author and Finisher (perfector) of my faith.

On You I wait, and  in You and the Holy Scriptures is where I find encouragement from day to day.

As the song says,

” What a Friend we have in Jesus.”

” All our sins and griefs to bear.”

” What a privilege to carry everything to Him in prayer.”

” Have you trials and temptations, is there trouble anywhere.”

” We should never be discouraged. ”

” Take it to the Lord in prayer.”

” Are we weak and heavy laden. Cumbered with a load of care.”

” Precious Saviour, still our refuge and strength.”

” Take it to the Lord in prayer. ”

Hallelujah!

I can pray and communicate with the Creator of the Universe, the Cosmos, and He hears my prayer, and will answer with what is best for me.

Praise the Lord!

John 4:39-42

And many of the Samaritans of the city believed in Him because of the word of the woman who testified, ” Jesus told me all that I ever did.”

So when the Samaritans had come to Him, they urged Him to stay with them; and He stayed there two days.

And many more believed because of His own word.

Then they said to the Samaritan woman, ” Now we believe, not because of what you said, for we ourselves have heard Him and we know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

Inspiration.

Everyone has to believe for themselves in Jesus and in the gospel truth message of salvation.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal God,

Thank You for Your Holy Scriptures that inspires us, guides us, encourages us, and lead us to life eternal through Jesus Christ, our Saviour.

Thank You for the gospel message, the truth that there is salvation only through Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life.

He is the only way to receive salvation, He is the truth of salvation, and eternal life comes only through Jesus Christ.

Thank You Lord God, Lord Jesus, for what You have done for my salvation and redemption.

And for the power of the gospel truth to save to the uttermost those who accept, believe, confess and repent of their sins.

O Lord, I thank You for Your Holy Scriptures that says, ” if we believe in our heart and confess with our mouth that Jesus was raised from the dead, we will be saved.”

O Lord Jesus, I believe in You, and I accept You as my Saviour, and I ask You to forgive me and cleanse me from all unrighteousness.

Lord Jesus, You are indeed the Saviour and Redeemer of the world.

Please help, lead and be my life’s guide on my Christian journey.

Psalms 18:1-3

I will love You, O Lord, my strength.

The Lord is my Rock and my Fortress and my Deliverer, my Shield and the Horn of my Salvation, my stronghold.

I will call upon the Lord, Who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.

Inspiration.

King David is praising the Lord for protecting Him from his enemies.

We also should acknowledge God’s mighty power, His strength, and praise and worship Him because of Who He is.

God is our Protector, Rock, Fortress, our Shield, and our Strong tower, and in Him is our Salvation.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal God,

My Heavenly Father, Holy Father, and the only true God.

I praise and worship You for Your loving watch care and protection over me.

O Lord, You are my strength from day to day, the Rock of my salvation, my Fortress, my Shield from the arch-enemy and my Strong Tower.

O Lord, I look to You, I run to You for help, for protection from the storms of life, and from from the enemy.

Lord Jesus, You are the Rock of my salvation.

What a loving and wonderful Saviour You are, I give You thanks and praise for Your great sacrifice of love to save me.

By faith I am saved through Your amazing grace and sacrifice.

Lord Jesus, I look forward to that wonderful day, when I will see You face to face in all of Your magnificent glory.

When I shall behold You, my Saviour and Lord.

Dear Jesus, please help me to never give up, but to hold on to You, and keep pressing on to glory.

In Your precious name, I pray. Amen.

NB.

Always pray and ask the Lord to forgive you of your sins.

And for His saving grace.

Also pray about your personal needs, cares, concerns, challenges, struggles, problems, and ask God to show you what to do.

God will lead, guide, direct and show you the perfect way.

He has a solution to every problem or challenge that come our way.

God can turn every trial into a victory.

Just have faith and trust in God, wait on Him, and be of good courage.

Never give up.

Hebrews 9:28

So Christ was once offer to the bear the sins of many, and to them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Inspiration.

Jesus is the Lamb of God Who atoned for our sins by His sacrifice of love for our redemption.

He is coming again as our victorious Saviour and Redeemer, to receive His redeemed.

Holy God,

Thank You for sending Jesus, Who is the Lamb of God, Who takes away the sins of the world.

Lord Jesus, You came to this earth to save us, and dwelled among us, and ultimately paid the penalty for our sins.

God rose You up on the third day – You were victorious over death, sin, evil and the devil.

As the song says,

There is victory in Jesus, our Saviour forever.

Then You returned to Heaven – to Your Father and our Heavenly Father to be our Advocate and Intercessor in the Heavenly courts.

Some day soon You will return – and this time not as the suffering Saviour,  but as King of kings and Lords of lords, in Your magnificent power and great glory.

To receive those of us who have accepted You as our Saviour and Redeemer.

And to give us the gift of eternal life that comes only through You, Lord Jesus.

I give You thanks and praise and the love and adoration that You wholeheartedly deserve for what You have done to save me.

O Lord, I thank You for watching over me while I slept during the night, and waking me up, giving me the breath of life and a sound mind.

Thank You for Your loving watch care and protection from day to day.
