Hebrews 11:6

But without faith it is impossible to please God, for He who comes to God must believer that He is, and that He is rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Inspiration.

We need faith in God to please Him, to serve Him, and we believe by faith that He exists.

And He will do for us good and perfect things as we seek Him.

So have faith in God, trust Him, and bring everything to Him in prayer, because He will lead, guide and direct you in the perfect way.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal God,

Thank You for today – a day of joy and gladness – Your Holy Sabbath day.

O Lord, I want to be pleasing to You in every way.

So I ask that for a daily increase of my faith.

Lord God, You are my Creator God, the Source and Sustainer of my life, and You have made a way for me to be saved in Your Eternal Kingdom.

I  thank You, I praise You, and I bring everything to You in prayer, every concern, every problem, every challenge to You, because of my faith in You, knowing that You have my best interests in view.

Lord Jesus, ” my faith looks up to You, O Lamb of Calvary, now hear me while I pray, take all my sins away, and make me from this day be wholly Thine.”

And Lord Jesus, I am looking forward to that wonderful day when I will see You face to face.

” Face to face with Christ, my Saviour. Jesus Christ, Who died to save me.”

Please help me to continue on the narrow pathway, ever going forward in faith, pressing on,  looking to Jesus, the Author and Finisher ( perfector) of my faith.

Thank You for Your loving kindness, saving grace, and sacrifice of love to save me.

I love and adore You and I bless Your Holy name.

Hebrews 11:1

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Inspiration.

Faith is believing and trusting in God at all times, even though we do not see the evidence of things hope for as yet.

Absolute confidence in God’s ability to do for you what you have asked of Him, because He is able and there is nothing impossible for Him to do.

Prayer ( for you)

Eternal God,

How wonderful to know that I have a God Who is always faithful to do for me what I have asked of Him, and what is for my good, the best for me.

O Lord, please increase my faith in You, because I know that having faith pleases You.

And I want to be pleasing to You with all my heart, soul and mind.

Lord, there are many things that I hope for by faith , and I have the evidence from Your Holy Scriptures that You will do for me what is best.

Please help me to be patient and wait on You, and be of good courage.

Because nothing is impossible for You,  and You can take care of any situation, and You have the solution to every problem or challenges that I may encounter.

So please increase my faith in You daily, so that whatever I may hope for, I will have the faith to believe and trust in You to provide for me.

My God is able to anything, everything because nothing is too hard for Him – nothing is impossible with God.

I thank You in advance for all that You have already done, still doing, and will do for me.

Thank You O Lord, for Your loving kindness, caring, guidance, direction, and leading me in the paths of righteousness.

In Jesus’ name, I pray with thanksgiving. Amen.

 

Ephesians 2:4

God, Who is  rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us.

Inspiration.

We were all living contrary to God before we accepted Jesus as our Saviour and Lord.

Because of God’s Infinite, unconditional and amazing grace and love for us, He sent Jesus to save us, to reconcile us back Him, our Creator God.

Such love. Praise the Lord.

Prayer ( for you)

Eternal God,

How great You are.

Thank You for Your  great, wonderful, Infinite, unconditional, amazing love and grace to me.

How merciful and compassionate You are.

When I was in sin, You made a way for me to be saved and reconciled, redeemed back to You.

There is nothing that I can do to save myself, only You, Lord Jesus is my salvation and my saving grace.

Lord God, thank You for sending Jesus to save, reconcile and redeem me back to You, my Creator God.

Jesus, thank You for coming, and shedding Your precious blood for me – for humanity.

Jesus, You are my joy, the Rock of my salvation, my Bright and Morning star, and my soon coming King.

I look forward to that great day when You will appear in all Your power and magnificent glory as King of kings and Lord of lords.

Please help me to be faithful in my Christian journey, endure to the end and press on to glory.

Lord God, I honour, glorify, praise and thank You for all that You have done for me.

I love and adore You.

Proverbs 2:6

The Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.

Inspiration.

Wisdom that comes from God helps us to see things from God’s viewpoint so that we can live the life that  is pleasing to God.

So let us ask God for His Holy Spirit, His wisdom, His knowledge and understanding.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal God,

I thank You for another day when I can seek You in prayer and supplication.

Please forgive me of my sins and cleanse me and make me Holy Thine.

O Lord, I ask for Your wisdom, knowledge and understanding that You will freely give to me.

As the Holy Scripture says, ” If any of you lacks wisdom, let them ask of God, Who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to them.” James 1:5

I also ask for the Holy Spirit in my life to help and comfort me along life’s journey.

O Lord, I have asked and I know that I will receive what I have asked for.

I praise and thank You for Your goodness, tender mercies and compassions to me.

In Jesus’ Holy name, I pray. Amen.

 

Galatians 1:3-4

Our Lord Jesus Christ gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father.

Inspiration.

Jesus came to earth, shed His precious blood to save us from sin, and the evil devil.

Jesus sacrifice of love for us should give us comfort and hope for the future as we live in this crooked and perverse world.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal Father in Heaven,

I thank You for sending Jesus to save me.

For paying the penalty for my sins and to redeem me back to You, my Creator God.

Thank You Lord God, for Your Plan of Salvation, Your Infinite love, Your saving grace,  tender mercies, compassions and loving kindness to me.

O Lord, there is nothing that humanity could do to save ourselves.

Lord Jesus, without You, without Your great sacrifice to save us, we were spiraling down the destruction pathway.

But You came, You shed Your precious blood to save and redeem me from sin and destruction.

Lord Jesus, thank You for making the greatest sacrifice of love for me on Calvary’s cross.

Now I am blameless and guilt free from sin, because of what You did for me.

Please help me to continue on the narrow pathway that leads to life eternal through Jesus Christ, my Saviour.

Praise You Lord Jesus.

Hallelujah. Amen.

Lord God, Lord Jesus, I give You all the praise, honour and I glorify You, for Your Redemptive love for me.

Psalms 119:29-30

Remove from me the way of lying, and grant me Your law graciously.

I have chosen the way of truth, Your judgements I have laid before me.

Inspiration.

Eternal God,

I give You thanks and praise for another day when I can come to seek You in prayer.

And tell You everything that weighs heavily on my mind.

Knowing that You have the solution to every problem, and nothing is too hard for You to do.

Thank You for Your Holy Scriptures words that give me strength for today and hope for tomorrow.

Lord Jesus, You are the way, the truth and the life.

Help me always to always ” chose the way of truth,” and seek to know the truth – because the truth will set me free from the bondage of sin and lies.

Help me to continually seek You, to learn more about You, to read and study the Holy Bible, where I will find the truth about what life is all about – and the way of salvation.

Lord God, Lord Jesus, I want to understand and know more about You, and have a closer personal relationship with You.

Grant it Jesus, is my plea.

Because to know You is life eternal.

I love and adore You and I bless and honour You.

Jeremiah 32:27

” Behold,  I am the Lord, the God of all flesh, is there anything too hard for Me.”

Inspiration.

We have to learn and realize that there is nothing that God cannot do.

” Nothing is impossible with God.”

Prayer (for you)

Eternal God,

What a Mighty God You are.

You are all-powerful and You know and see everything.

There is absolutely nothing that You cannot do, and nothing that is too hard for You to do.

O Lord, my faith, hope and trust is in You, the Almighty God, Creator of mankind, and Sustainer and Source of life.

I bring every concern, issue, challenge to You, because You know the beginning from the end.

And You have the solution to every problem.

O Lord, please guide me, lead me and direct me in the way that You want me to take – in the way everlasting.

And show me what I should  do as I bring my cares and concerns to You.

I give You thanks and praise, and I love and adore You.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

NB. Take the time to pray about Your personal cares and concerns.

Trust and have faith in God, He will show and guide You in the perfect way.

 

 

Ecclesiastes 12:1

Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, before  the difficult days come, and the years draw near when you say, ” I have no pleasure in them.”

Inspiration.

When we learn to trust God in our early years, we have a firm foundation that will carry us through the difficult days, the times of trials and challenges that comes to everyone in this sinful world.

Prayer (for you)

How great it is to know the Lord God, and Lord Jesus, my Saviour and Redeemer.

And to have a firm foundation in Jesus from my youth.

To build on the solid Rock – Jesus, the Rock of my salvation.

Lord Jesus, I thank You, I praise You for always being there to help me, to provide for me, and to show and lead me in the paths of righteousness.

O Lord, how wonderful to know that You are just a prayer away, and that I can call on You, morning, noon or night and You hear my prayers.

And You will do for me what is best.

My faith, hope and trust is in You, and I will praise and worship You forever and ever.

Proverbs 4:23

Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.

Inspiration.

Heart refers to the mind.

So whatever affects your mind affects your entire life.

If people are constantly pre-occupied with evil and wicked things, – with worldly things, then this will affect their minds.

But if we fill our mind with things that are lovely, pure, holy, true and God’s Holy Scriptures, then we will be letting ” our light shine – the light of God’s glory will be seen in us.

Other people will see that we are Christians – followers of Jesus Christ.

Prayer ( for you)

Eternal God,

How wonderful to know You, and to be part of the family God.

I have been washed in the fountain and cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ.

Dear Lord, I pray that You will help me to keep my mind focused on pure, holy, lovely, true and lovely things and on Your Holy Scriptures.

Lord Jesus, I need Your help to be pleasing to You, so please help me, I pray.

I ask that You guard my mind and my thoughts, and help me to focus on You, focus on glory, because what I focus on becomes who I am.

I praise and adore You, I glorify and exalt You.

In Jesus’ precious name, I pray with thanksgiving. Amen.

 

 

Romans 1:16

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

Inspiration.

The gospel ( the good news of salvation) is for everyone.

First the Jews were to take the gospel  message to the nations around, the whole world  (Greeks means gentiles – anyone who is non Jew.)

But the Jews failed because they did not go and tell others, – and take the gospel to the entire world, so now all Christian people need to tell others of the Plan of Salvation that leads to life eternal.

As Jesus says,

” Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:20

” Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20

Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. To every kindred, tongue and people, and then the end will come.

” And this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all nations, and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:14

When every person on earth have heard the good news of salvation, then the end will come.

It is our duty as Christians to tell others- tell the Jews and the Gentiles ( every people, tongue, tribe, kindred) the ” good news” – the gospel message of God’s saving grace for all people.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal God,

Thank You for Your Plan of salvation, ” the gospel message of salvation that is for every person, every language, every nation, every tribe.

I am so glad to be a Christian, a follower of Jesus.

Please help me to be pleasing to You, and tell others of Your amazing grace and sacrifice of love to save us, Your creation from sin.

O Lord, I know that of myself I cannot save anyone, only Jesus can save to the uttermost anyone who believes and accepts His free gift of salvation.

Dear Lord, all that You ask of me as a Christian is to tell them that You love them, died to save them, and that You are coming back to receive everyone who have accepted You as their Saviour and Lord.

Please give me the courage to tell others, because that is what You ask us as Christians to do.

I want to be pleasing to You, please help me I pray.

As the song says,

Tell them, even if they don’t believe you, tell them even if they don’t receive you.

Tell them that I love them, and I came to let them know.

They don’ even know that I care for them, that I love them, and I died to save them.

And I will come again to receive my redeemed, so that where I am there you will be also.

Lord Jesus, help me to tell them for You.

Tell someone – any nation, kindred, tongue and people.

And You will save anyone who accepts Your salvation so rich and free.

In Your precious name, I pray. Amen.
