John 17:3

And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

Inspiration.

We receive the gift of eternal life the moment we have faith in the risen Saviour, and accept Him as our Saviour and Lord.

And You begin your own close personal relationship with Jesus, with God, the Creator of all life and all that exists.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for another Sabbath day, a day of joy and gladness.

A day that You blessed and sanctified. ( make holy)

I worship and adore You and bless Your Holy Name.

Thank You for the privilege of prayer – a time and a way You have given us to communicate with You.

How great to know that I can talk to the God of the Universe at any time, and He always hears my prayers, and will answer with His very best for me.

You are such a good God, a good Saviour, Mighty to save from sin and the arch-enemy of our souls.

Praise the Lord God, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit!

O Lord, I give You thanks and praise for Your gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ’s great sacrifice of love for me.

My faith, hope and trust is in You, Almighty God, the only true and living God and there is no other but You.

And Jesus Christ is our only Saviour, Redeemer, Advocate, Intercessor, Good Shepherd and Friend.

Lord, I am so very thankful for my own close personal relationship that I have with You.

My desire is to have an even closer relationship with You and have a greater knowledge and understanding of You, grant it Jesus is my plea.

Thank You for making me part of the family of God.

I look forward to that wonderful day when I will see You face to face in all Your power and magnificent glory.

O Lord, please help and keep me always on the Christian path.

And help me to keep pressing on to glory and endure to the end in my Christian journey, regardless of what may happen.

In Jesus name, I pray with thanksgiving. Amen.

Hymn.

O, for a heart to praise my God.

A heart set free from sin.

A heart that always feels Thy blood.

So freely shed for me.

2.

A heart resigned, submissive and meek.

My dear Redeemer’s Throne.

Where Jesus Christ is heard to speak.

Where Jesus reigns alone.

3.

A heart in every thought renewed.

And full of love Divine.

Perfect, right, pure and good.

A copy of Yours, Lord, of Thine.

4.

Thy nature, gracious Lord, impart.

Come quickly from above.

Write Thy Name upon my heart.

Thy new, best name of Jesus.

Amen.
