Romans 10:13

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

Inspiration.

Listening to God’s Holy Words is very important to build our faith in Him.

The Lord is well pleased with us when we read and study the Holy Scriptures, and respond in faith.

When we heard and understand the messages in the Holy Scriptures it will increase our faith in God.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal Father,

Thank You for Your Holy Scriptures that encourages me and give me strength for today and hope for tomorrow.

And build my faith in You, faith that is so very important.

Because ” without faith it is impossible to please God.”

And I want to be pleasing to You, Father God.

So please help me to read, study, so that my faith will increase as I hear and understand Your messages and claim Your promises in the Holy Bible.

Your Holy promises that are sure and will be fulfilled, and never change, and encourages me as I journey along the Christian way.

Lord, by faith I believe now, but one day soon I will see You face face in Your magnificent power and glory.

I give You thanks, praise and I magnify You.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Hymn.

My faith looks up to You, Thou Lamb of Calvary.

Saviour Divine.

Now hear me while I pray, take all my guilt away.

And make me from this day.

Be wholly Thine.

2.

May Thy rich grace impart.

Strength to my fainting heart.

My zeal inspire.

As Thou hast died for me.

O may my love to Thee.

Pure, warm, and changeless be.

A living fire.

3.

While life’s dark maze I tread.

And griefs around me spread.

Be Thou my Guide.

Bid darkness turn to day.

Wipe sorrow’s tears away.

Nor let me ever stray from Thee a-side.

Praise the Lord!
