1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Romans 10:13

Whoever calls on the name of the Lord, shall be saved.

Devotion.

When we confess our sins, we can be assured that we are completely forgiven.

Jesus paid the penalty for our sins, so when we confess, repent, we are no longer guilty in His Eyes.

We are absolute and totally forgiven.

Eternal Father,

Holy You are.

Blessing, and honour and glory and power be unto Him Who sits on the Throne and to the Lamb ( Jesus Christ) forever.

O Lord Jesus, I confess and repent of every sin and I ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing.

Lord, sometimes we do not even realize that we have sinned, because we sin in our thoughts, our words and our actions.

So that is the reason why we need to regularly confess and ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing.

O Lord, I will totally consecrate my life to You on a daily basis, and ask for Your guidance and direction in all my ways.

And call on the name of Jesus, so that I will be saved, be part of the family of God, and receive Your gift of eternal life.

How wonderful to know that I am forgiven, I am sanctified, and I am now totally devoted to You, Lord God, Lord Jesus.

Also how wonderful to know that I have victory over sin through Jesus Christ, my Saviour.

I thank You for Your loving kindness and tender mercies to me.

In Jesus precious name, I pray. Amen.

Hymn.

God, be merciful to me.

On Thy grace I rest my plea.

Plenteous in compassion Thou art.

Blot out my transgressions now.

Wash me, make me pure within.

Cleanse, O cleanse me from my sin.

Wash me, make me pure within.

Yes, cleanse, O cleanse me from my sin.

Praise the Lord! Amen.
