2 Corinthians 4:18

While we do not look at the things that are seen, but at the things that are not seen. For the things that are seen are temporary, but the things that are not seen are eternal.

Devotion.

The things of this earth are temporary, but Heavenly things are eternal.

So let us have faith in God, accept Jesus as our Saviour, so that we can be part of the family of God, and receive God’s gift of eternal life.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

What a wonderful God, You are. You are Mighty to save and strong to save us from sin.

Your Plan of Salvation is so wonderful and amazing to me.

You made a way for me to be redeemed and get to live with You eternally in Heavenly places.

Lord Jesus, thank You for coming to earth, shedding Your precious blood for the salvation of all humanity.

Please help me focus on glory, on Heavenly things that are eternal, and not worry or fret about earthly things that are temporary and will soon pass away.

O Lord, how wonderful to know that soon You will make everything new, and sin and sinners will be no more.

Lord Jesus, please increase my faith in You, O Lamb of Calvary, my Saviour Divine.

And help me to continue on the narrow way, and walk by faith in You.

And help me to realize that as a Christian,, this earth is not my home, I am just passing through, on my pilgrim journey.

Lord God, Lord Jesus, I thank You for what You have done for my salvation.

How great You are, merciful, kind, compassionate and loving to Your children.

Lord, I love You and I glorify and bless Your Holy name.

Praise God from Whom all blessing flow.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Hymn.

Sing the wondrous love of Jesus.

Sing His mercy and His grace

In the mansions, bright and blessed.

He’ll prepare for us a place.

Chorus.

When we all get to Heaven,

What a day of rejoicing that will be.

When we all see Jesus.

We will sing and shout, the Victory.

2.

While we walk the pilgrim pathway.

Clouds will overspread the skies

But when travelling days are over.

Not a shadow, not a sigh.

3.

Let us then be true and faithful.

Trusting, serving every day.

Just one glimpse of Him in glory.

Will the toils of life repay.

Yes, when we all get to Heaven.

We will indeed rejoice and be glad.

And sing the victory song.

Hallelujah! Amen.
