Psalms 46:10

Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.

The Lord of host is with us; the God of Jacob is our Refuge.

Devotion.

Although God will sometimes display HIs glory in amazing ways that are impossible to ignore, most of the time, we meet Him in the quietness of our hearts.

So when chaos threatens, remember to seek Him, and you will have peace. ” Quote Charles Stanley.

In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.” Isaiah 30:15b

Prayer (for you)

Eternal Father,

Holy You are, You are the only true and living God, and there is no other, but You.

I worship, praise and adore You, magnify and glorify You, O Lord God Almighty.

Thank You this Holy Sabbath day, a day that You blessed, sanctified – made holy.

O Lord God, You set an example for us, by creating the Heavens and the earth in six days, and resting on the seventh day, setting an example for us to follow.

Yes, we follow You, O Lord Almighty, and we will worship You, honour, glorify and exalt You now and forever.

O Lord Jesus, please forgive me for my sins and cleanse me from all unholiness.

And lead, guide and direct me in the way that leads to life eternal, and is pleasing in Your Sight.

O Lord of hosts, please be with me, keep me and my family safe and secure under the shadow of Your Holy Wings, today and forever.

And save me and make me part of the family of God, washed in the fountain and cleansed by the precious blood of Jesus, my Saviour.

I love and adore You.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Hymn.

Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of Creation.

O my soul, praise Him, for He is my health and salvation!

All you who hear, now to His temple draw near.

Join in glad adoration!

2.

Praise to the Lord, Who o’er all things so wondrously reign-eth.

Shield-eth thee under His Winds, yea, so gently sustain-eth!

Hast thou not seen how thy desires have been.

Granted in what He ordain-eth!

3.

Praise to the Lord, Who doth prosper thy work and defend thee.

Surely HIs goodness and mercy here daily attend thee.

Ponder a-new what the Almighty can do.

If with His love He be-friend thee.

Yes, Praise the Lord! Amen.
