Psalms 116:1-2

I love the Lord, because He has heard my voice and my supplication.

Because He has inclined His ear to me, therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live.

Devotion.

The Lord God loves us with an eternal, everlasting love.

And He hears our every prayer, morning, noon or night.

So let us seek Him in prayer as long as we live.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

How loving, compassionate and wonderful You are.

You hear my prayers, You listen to my every word, my every request, my every confession, and my every need You will provide.

What a good and gracious God, You are.

I will praise and adore You, magnify, glorify and exalt You as long as I live.

And seek You in prayer, morning, noon or night.

Because You hear my prayers at anytime and anywhere.

O gracious is the Lord, and righteous, Yes, our God is merciful. Psalms 116:5.

I praise and adore You.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Hymn.

I have a Saviour, He’s pleading in glory.

A dear, loving Saviour, through earth friends are few.

And now He is watching in tenderness o’er me.

Bur oh that my Saviour were your Saviour too.

Chorus.

For you I am praying, for you I am praying.

For you, I am praying, I am praying for you.

2.

I have a Father God, to me He has given.

A hope for eternity, blessed and true.

And soon He will call me to meet Him in heaven.

But, oh that He’d let me bring you with me, too!

3.

I have a robe; ’tis re-splen-dent in whiteness.

Awaiting in glory, my wondering view.

Oh, when I receive it, all shining in brightness.

Dear friend, could I see you receiving one too!

4.

When Jesus has found you, tell others the story.

That my loving Saviour is your Saviour too.

Then pray that your Saviour will bring them to glory.

And prayer will be answered – t’was answered for you!

Chorus.

For you I am praying, for you I am praying.

For you I am praying, I am praying for you.

Praise the Lord! Amen.
