Proverbs 16:20

Whoever trusts in the Lord, happy are they.

Devotion

No one will ever find true happiness by dis-obeying the commands of the Creator God.

Our true joy is only found in trusting God, obeying God so that we can become all that He created us to be.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

Holy You are.

Thank You for today – another day to seek You in prayer with all my heart, mind and soul.

Thank You for the joy of Your salvation.

O Lord, please help me to obey Your Holy Scriptures and commandments, because this is only where true joy is found.

Thank You for always hearing my prayers and always doing for me what is in my best interests.

Please be with me and family today, keep us close to You and in Your protection.

I love and adore You.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Hymn.

When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Holy word.

What a glory He sheds on our way.

While we do His good will, He abides with us still.

And with all who will trust and obey.

Chorus.

Trust and obey, for there is no other way.

To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

Yes, let us trust and obey our Lord and Saviour.

So that we can become all that our Creator God created us to be, and because He always has our best interests in mind

Amen.
