Philippians 1:6

Being confident of this very thing, that He Who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Devotion.

” Creator God initiated the relationship He has with you, and He will complete it. May we grow in love and in faith as we wait for that day, while always resting only in the righteousness of Christ, which is credited to us by faith.” Quote Sabbath school Lesson.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal Father,

Please bless me and guide me with Thy Mighty Hand.

Keep me safe in Your loving watch care and protection.

I give You praise and thanks for what You have done for me, what You are doing to help me to be faithful and endure to the end, so that I can be saved in Your eternal Kingdom.

O Lord Jesus, please keep what I have committed to You, until that day when You will appear in all Your power and magnificent glory as King of kings and Lord of lords.

With the holy Angels with You to receive Your redeemed.

O Lord please help me, lead and guide along the narrow pathway, so that I will be among Your redeemed.

I give You thanks and praise for Your Infinite love and tender mercies to me.

O Lord, I pray for those who have not accepted You as their Saviour as yet.

I pray that they will come to their senses and realize that they have a Saviour Who is pleading for them, and You are coming again soon.

And for those of us who have accepted You as our Saviour and Lord, please keep us faithful, pressing on to glory land and enduring to the end.

Thank You Lord God, Lord Jesus for what You have done for my salvation.

In Jesus’ precious name, I pray with thanksgiving.

Amen.

Hymn.

I will follow Thee, my Saviour.

Where-so-e’er my lot may be.

Where Thou go-est I will follow.

Yes, my Lord, I’ll follow Thee.

Chorus.

I will follow Thee, my Saviour.

Thou didst shed Thy blood for me.

And though all men should forsake Thee.

By Thy grace I’ll follow Thee.

2.

Though the road be rough and thorny.

Trackless as the foaming sea.

Thou hast trod this way before me.

And I’ll gladly follow Thee.

3.

Though I meet with tribulations.

Sorely tempted though I be.

I remember Thou was tempted.

And rejoice to follow Thee.

4,

Though Thou lead-est me through affliction.

Poor, forsaken though I be.

Thou was destitute afflicted.

And I only follow Thee.

5.

Though to Jordan’s rolling billows.

Cold and deep, Thou lead-est me.

Thou has crossed the waves before me.

An I still will follow Thee.

Chorus.

I will follow Thee, my Saviour.

Thou didst shed Thy precious blood for me.

And though all men should forsake Thee.

By Thy grace I’ll follow Thee.

Praise the Lord! Amen.
