Psalms 138:8

The Lord will perfect that which concerns me. Your mercy, O Lord endures forever. Do not forsake the works of Your Hands.

Devotion.

The Lord will always do for us what is in our best interests, and He will never forsake us.

So Let us continue to have faith, trust and obey our Creator God.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

I am glad to be part of the family of God, washed in the fountain and cleansed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ, my Saviour.

O Lord, You know what my concerns are, so please take care of everything for me.

I know that You will make everything perfect according to what is best and Your Holiness.

I give You thanks and praise for all that You have done and will do for me.

I love and adore You and bless Your Holy Name.

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow.

In Jesus’ precious name, I pray. Amen.

Hymn.

Day by day, and with each passing moment.

Strength I find to meet my trials here.

Trusting in my Father’s wise bestowment.

I’ve no cause for worry or for fear.

He whose heart is kind beyond all measure.

Gives unto each day what He deems best.

Lovingly, its part of pain and pleasure.

Mingling toil with peace and rest.

2.

Every day the Lord Himself is near me.

With a special mercy for each hour.

All my cares He fane would bear, and cheer me.

He Who name is Counselor and power.

The protection of His child and treasure.

Is a charge that on Himself He laid.

As your days, your strength shall be in measure.

This the pledge to me He made.

3.

Help me then in every tribulation.

So to trust Thy promises, O Lord.

That, I lose not faith’s sweet consolation.

Offered me within Thy Holy Word.

Help me, Lord, when toil and trouble meeting.

E’er to take, as from a Father’s hand.

One by one, the days, the moments fleeting.

‘Till I reach the promised land.

Praise the Lord! Amen.
