Psalms 3:5

I lay down and slept, I awoke, for the Lord sustained me.

Devotion.

Our ability to lie down and have a good sleep is a gift from God, and when we wake up it is also a gift from God.

The Lord is the Sustainer and Source of our life.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

How great You are, Mighty to save us from sin.

I praise You, I honour, glorify and exalt You, because You alone deserve my praise, worship and adoration.

For You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created.

You are the only true and living God, and there is no other, but You.

Thank You for giving me sweet sleep and awaking me – You are the Source, Sustainer and the breath that I breathe.

The benefit of sleep is so important to restore, heal, strengthen, and rest our bodies and mind, regardless of what is going on.

What a Mighty God, Creator God, You are, so loving, kind, compassionate, just and of tender mercies to me.

I love and adore You.

In Jesus’ blessed, holy name, I pray.

Amen.

Hymn.

I am trusting Thee, Lord Jesus.

Trusting only Thee.

Trusting Thee for full salvation.

2.

I am trusting Thee, Lord Jesus.

Thou alone shall lead and guide me.

Everyday and every hour, supplying all my needs.

Praise the Lord!
