Ephesians 2:8

For by grace you have been saved through faith, but not of yourselves; it is the gift God.

Devotion.

We are saved by God’s amazing grace and by our faith in God, in Jesus Christ, our Saviour, Who shed His precious, Holy blood on Calvary’s cross for our salvation.

Salvation and eternal life is a gift of God to the human race.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your salvation so rich and free to everyone who believes and accepts Jesus as their Saviour.

Lord Jesus, by faith I believe and I accept You as my Saviour and Redeemer.

Thank You for Your great sacrifice of love to save me from sin and destruction.

Please increase my faith in You more and more each day.

I look forward with great anticipation to that wonderful day, when my eyes shall behold You, Lord Jesus.

Yes, I will see You face to face in all Your power and magnificent glory when You return, this time not as a suffering Saviour, but as King of kings and Lord of lords in all Your majestic glory.

O Lord God, please give me the faith that is pleasing to You, because I have to have faith now, because I do not yet see You, face to face.

And faith in You Lord God, Lord Jesus is pleasing to You, and I certainly want to be pleasing to You in all my ways.

O Lord Jesus, please continue to lead and guide me in the way that leads to life eternal.

Because You are ” the way, the truth and the life.”

Lord Jesus, You have shown us the way to be saved, You have told us the truth about what we need to do, and how to get to know You and have our own personal relationship with You.

O Lord Jesus, to know You is so important, because to know You is life eternal.

Lord, please be with me and my family today.

O Lord, we need You every hour, every day to be our Help, our Guide along life’s – the Christian journey.

Thank You for Your Infinite love, tender mercies and compassions that are new every day.

Lord Jesus, I pray for those who do not know You as yet, I pray that they will get to know You because this is very important – to know You is life eternal.

I love and adore You and bless Your Holy name.

In Jesus’ Holy name, Amen.

Hymn.

My faith looks up to Thee.

Thou Lamb of Calvary, Saviour Divine.

Now hear me while I pray.

Take all my guilt away.

And make me from this day.

Be wholly Thine.

Yes, Lord, make me totally consecrated to You.

In all my ways.

Praise the Lord!
