Psalms 40:1
I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry.
Devotion.
Waiting is part of our lives.
When we pray, sometimes God answers our prayers immediately, and other times we have to wait on the Lord.
Because He knows what is best and the perfect time to answer us.
So wait on the Lord and be of good cheer, as you wait patiently.
Prayer (for you)
Eternal Father,
Thank You for Your many blessings to me, and Your Infinite love, compassions and tender mercies that are new every morning.
Great is Your faithfulness to me, O Lord God Almighty.
Thank You for the privilege of prayer.
How wonderful to know that I can communicate with, talk to the God of the Universe and He hears and will answer my prayers.
O Lord, I know that You answer some prayers immediately, and sometimes I need to wait for Your answers.
Because You see down the corridor of time and You know the best way and the best time to answer.
So I will keep on praying, keep on trusting in You, because I know that You will do for me what is in my best interests.
O Lord, my faith, hope and trust is in You, so I will patiently wait on You, and be of good cheer as I wait.
As Your Holy Scriptures says,
” Wait on the Lord and be of good courage, and He shall strengthen Your heart; wait, I say on the Lord. Psalms 27:14
Thank You for Your Holy Scriptures that encourages and gives me strength as I journey along the Christian way.
I praise and adore You, now and forever.
