Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, and not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Devotion.
What is grace? Grace is underserved favour.
By God’s amazing grace we are saved and through our faith and our belief in God.
God favoured us and wants to save us, make us part of His family and give us eternal life.
Prayer.
Heavenly Father,
Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God.
Who was, Who is and Who is to come.
Praise the Lord from Whom all blessings come to us.
Lord, I give You thanks and praise for Your amazing grace that is extended to me – and to all Your creation.
Lord, I accept Your amazing grace, Your Plan of Salvation to save me from sin and destruction,
My faith, hope and trust is in You, O Lord God Almighty and Jesus Christ, my Saviour.
My Lord, You have given to everyone a measure of faith, and I thank You and humbly ask for an increase in my faith in You each and every day.
I give You thanks and praise for Your goodness, Your Infinite love and compassions to me.
I ask that You continue to lead and guide me – be my life’s guide as I journey along this Christian pathway.
I love and adore You, and bless Your Holy name.
In the Mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
Hymn.
I was sinking deep in sin.
Far from the peaceful shore.
Very deeply stained within.
Sinking to rise no more.
But the Master of the sea.
Heard my disparing cry.
From the waters lifted me.
Now safe am I.
Chorus.
Love life me, love lifted me.
When nothing else could help.
Love lifted me, love lifted me.
John 3:16, John 3:16
When nothing else could help.
John 3:16.
For God so loved the world.
That He gave His Only Beloved Son.’
That whosoever believeth in Him.
Should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16.
Amen.
