Romans 10:17
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Devotion.
Listening, reading and studying God’s Holy Scriptures is the way our faith will increase.
Also believing and accepting God’s Holy promises and responding to them in faith will also increase our faith in God.
Prayer (for you)
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for today, Your Holy Sabbath day. A day of joy and gladness.
A day to rest from all our toil and labour and worship You in Spirit and in truth
Thank You, dear Lord, for taking me safely through another week.
I praise and adore You, magnify and exalt You, O Lord God Almighty.
O Lord, please help me to spend more time listening to the gospel message of salvation and also reading and studying Your Holy Words.
So that my faith will increase and I will gain more knowledge and understanding of the truth.
Because the truth – God’s truth will set us free from the bondage of sin.
Please help me to exercise my faith by believing in the Creator God and Jesus Christ, my Saviour.
Yes, I believe and I have made my decision to follow Jesus all the way, regardless of what may happen.
O Lord, please help me to be steady and earnest in my Christian journey, and endure to the end in my Christian faith.
I also ask for an increase in my faith and a closer relationship with You.
Grant it Jesus, is my plea.
My Lord, I am so thankful for what You have done for me.
Thank You for Your sacrifice of love to save and redeem me from sin and destruction.
I love and adore You and bless Your Holy Name.
Praise the Lord!
In Jesus’ name, I pray with thanksgiving. Amen.
