Do not sorrow (be sad) for the joy of the Lord is your strength.
Devotion.
Jesus shed His precious blood for our salvation, our redemption and to give us eternal life.
Hebrews 12:2 says, ” looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher (developer) of our faith, Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right Hand of God.
So knowing that Jesus loved us so much that He shed His precious blood for our salvation.
Jesus endured the cross for us, He paid the penalty for our sins, this should give us great joy and happiness, and strengthen us daily.
Prayer (for you)
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for another day when I can seek You in prayer, read and study Your Holy Scriptures.
And as I read and study, I will meditate on Your Holy Words.
Because It gives me strength for today and hope, the blessed hope for tomorrow.
O Lord, thank You for the joy of my salvation. For Your great sacrifice of love to save me from sin.
O Lord, ” for the joy that was set before You, You endured the cross for my salvation.”
Yes, Lord Jesus, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation all the day, regardless what is happening.
I will rejoice because I am forgiven of my sins, I am saved, I am at peace with Creator God.
O Lord, You are All-powerful, and You are my safety, my protection, and my strength from day to day.
When I am weak, with You I have strength, because my strength comes from the Lord God, Who made the Heavens and the earth, humanity and everything that exists.
O Lord, I have so much to be joyful and thankful for..
I am thankful for Your Plan of Salvation, Your amazing sacrifice of love for me, paying the penalty for my sins, Your forgiveness of my sins, Your Infinite love, Your compassions.
And Your tender mercies, Your protection, keeping me safe from all alarms, always being there to help and guide me, and for providing for me.
And for my own close personal relationship with the God of the Universe, and Jesus Christ, my Saviour.
And I thank You for giving me Your peace, the peace that surpasses all human understanding.
I praise, adore, glorify and exalt You, O Lord God the Almighty.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. with thanksgiving. Amen.
