John 17:3
And this is eternal life that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ Whom You have sent.
Devotion.
” Jesus stated that the prerequisite of entering Heaven is to do the will of God and to know God – for we can’t do His will without knowing Him.
When we love God, we’ll want to know His ways, and do His will, because we know there is nothing better for us to do.
Our response to Creator God, and our obedience to Him will be an overflow of our love, and will show the true nature of our relationship with Him.” Quote from SS Lesson.
Prayer (for you)
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your Plan of Salvation.
My desire is to know You much more, to know Jesus, my Saviour much more because to know You is to love You, serve You, worship and praise You.
And to know You is life eternal through Jesus’ great sacrifice of love to save me.
Thank You for sending Jesus to pay the penalty for my sins.
I do not have the words adequate enough to express my gratitude to You for all that You have done to save and redeem me back to You, my Creator God.
The Creator of Heaven and earth and everything that exists.
O Lord, my faith, trust and hope is in You.
Please grant me a closer personal relationship with You, grant it Jesus, is my plea.
Thank You for Your goodness, tender mercies and compassions to me.
Lord Jesus, please forgive me of all my sins, and cleanse me with Your precious blood.
I give You thanks and praise for Your gift of salvation, Your great sacrifice of love for me, and Your gift of eternal life.
And for making me part of the family of God.
I love and adore You.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen
