Psalms 139:7

The psalmist David asks the question.

” Where can I go from Your Spirit!? Or where can I flee from Your Presence.”

Devotion.

” God answers the psalmist’s question in Jeremiah 23:24 ” can anyone hide himself in secret places so I shall not see him? says the Lord; ” Do I not fill the heaven and earth?”

“Thankfully, this also means that no matter where you go, God is there for you – no one can ever prevent you from seeking shelter in God’s loving arms.” Quote C. Stanley.

Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Hallowed be Thy Holy name.

Thy Kingdom come Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

O Lord, I look forward to that wonderful day when You will create a new Heaven and earth, and there will be peace, complete joy and happiness.

When Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

O Lord Jesus, thank You for Your shed blood that reconciles me back to my Creator God.

Please forgive my sins, and come into my heart, Lord Jesus, come in today, come in to stay, I pray.

I ask for Your continued presence with me today and every day.

O Lord, there is no where that any one can hide from You, because You are everywhere, all the time, and You see everything and know everything.

Thank You for Your loving watch care and protection over me each day.

I give You thanks and praise for what You have done for me, and what You will continue to do for me, as I continue on the Christian pathway.

I love and adore You and bless Your Holy name.

Praise the Lord!.

In Jesus’ Holy name. Amen.

Hymn.

Under His (God’s) Wings, I am safely abiding.

Though the night deepens and tempest are wild.

Still I can trust Him, I know He will keep me.

He has redeemed me, and I am His child.

Chorus.

Under His wings, under His wings.

Who from His love can sever?

Under His wings my soul shall abide.

Safely abide forever.

2.

Under His wings, what a refuge in sorrow!

How the heart yearningly turns to its rest!

Often when earth has no balm for my healing.

There I find comfort, and there I am blest.

3.

Under His wings, O what precious enjoyment!

There will I hide till life’s trials are o’er.

Sheltered, protected, no evil can harm me.

Resting in Jesus I’m safe ever-more.

Yes, we find protection in God, in Jesus.

Praise the Lord. Amen.
