2 Corinthians 9:5
Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift.
Devotion.
The best, greatest and indescribable gift that we can ever receive is the gift of God – salvation and redemption through Jesus Christ, our Saviour.
God loved us so much that He sent Jesus to save us from sin and reconcile us back to Him.
Prayer (for you)
Eternal Father,
I give You thanks and praise for the privilege of prayer when I can come to You with a humble heart (mind) and seek You in prayer.
Thank You for Your Infinite and everlasting love for me.
Thank You for Your indescribable gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, my Saviour and Redeemer.
I give You all the thanksgiving, glory and praise that You and only You deserve.
You are such a good God, Who is Mighty to save and strong to redeem.
Thank You, Lord Jesus for shedding Your precious blood for my salvation and redemption.
I glorify, exalt and magnify and bless Your Holy name.
“Blessing and honour and glory and power be to Him Who sits on the Throne and to the Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, Who takes away the sins of the world.”
I love and adore You.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Hymn.
Now thank we all our God.
With hearts and hands and voices.
Who wondrous things hath done.
In Whom this world rejoices.
Who, from our mother’s arms.
Hath blessed us on our way.
With countless gifts of love.
And still is our today.
2.
O may this bounteous God.
Through all our life be near us.
With ever joyful hearts.
And blessed peace to cheer us.
And keep us in His grace.
And guide us when perplexed.
And free us from all ills.
In this world and the next.
3.
All praise and thanks to God.
The Father now be given
The Son, and Him who reigns.
With Him in highest heaven.
The One Eternal God.
Whom earth and heaven adore.
For thus it was, is now.
And shall be evermore.
Amen.
