Proverbs 4:14-15
Do not enter the path of the wicked; and do not walk in the way of evil.
Avoid it, do not travel on it; turn away from it and pass on.
Devotion.
By the grace of God, let us avoid all evil ways, evil paths and turn away from sinfulness.
Prayer (for you)
Heavenly Father,
Holy and Righteous You are.
There is only One God, and You are the Only true and living God.
Lord God, I thank You for the privilege of prayer when I can come to You, communicate with You and bring all my burdens and concerns to You.
And You hear my voice, You hear my prayer, and You incline Your Ear to me, and will grant me You peace.
O Lord, please help me to avoid all evil, wickedness and corrupt ways.
O Lord, I know that this world is a evil, wicked and corrupt world because of sin.
But I know and I am confident that You will help me to avoid evil, wickedness and corruption.
There are some people who are sinful, evil, wicked and corrupt, please help me to be wise and discerning so that I can ” avoid, turn away and pass on” as the Holy Scriptures admonishes.
I give You thanks and praise for Your goodness, compassions and tender mercies to me – and to all Your creation.
And for Your Holy Scriptures and Holy Spirit that guides me as I journey along the Christian, Holy pathway.
In Jesus’ precious name, I pray. Amen.
Hymn.
Holy Spirit, faithful Guide.
Ever near the Christian side.
Gently, lead me by the hand
Pilgrims in a desert land.
Weary souls forever rejoice.
While they hear the sweetest voice.
Whispering softly, wanderer, come!
Follow Me, I’ll guide you home. (eternal home.)
Praise the Lord!
