Hebrews 12:2
Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame.

Jesus endured the suffering, pain, scorn, rejection and betrayal of the cross, for the joy that was set before Him.
What was the joy that was set before Him – the joy is our salvation from sin and to restore us, connect us back to our Creator God.
Prayer (for you)
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for another day to seek You in prayer.
Thank You for the privilege of prayer when I can communicate with You, my Maker and my God.
Lord Jesus, I give You thanks and praise for making the greatest sacrifice for my salvation and enduring the cross.
O Lord, You endured the pain and suffering of the cruel cross so that I can be forgiven, be saved and be part of the family of God.
Washed in the fountain and cleansed by Your precious blood.
Lord Jesus, how wonderful to know that when You see us acceptance Your free gift of salvation, it gives You joy.
I thank You for the joy of Your salvation and I thank and praise You for what You have done for me.
Lord Jesus, I look forward to that wonderful day when You will return not as the suffering Saviour, but as King of kings and Lord of lords in all Your power and majesty to receive Your redeemed.
Lord Jesus, please keep me in Your loving care always and help me to be among Your redeemed of the earth.
