2 Corinthians 4:8-9
We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair.
We are persecuted, but not forsaken, struck down, but not destroyed.
We are pressed on every side by trouble, but not crushed and broken.
We are perplexed because we don’t know why things happen as they do, but we never give up.
We are persecuted, but God never abandons us. We get knocked down, but we get up again and keep going.
Christians will go through a lot in this sinful world, but we should remember that one day soon, Jesus will return to get His waiting saints, and then there will be no more tears or crying, no more death, no more sadness for the former things are passed away.
Jesus will destroy the evil devil and sin and sinners will be no more.
Also remember that no matter what you may go through, Jesus will never leave you or forsake you.
So don’t worry or fret because the God of heaven is with you, the Creator God is with you, the God of Jacob is your refuge.
