Psalms 139:7-12
Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?
If I ascend into heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.
If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me.
If I say, “surely the darkness shall fall on me, even the night shall be light about me.
Indeed the darkness shall not hide from You, but the night shines as the day.
The darkness and the light are both alike to You.
I can never be lost to Your Spirit. I can never get away from my God.
If I go up to heaven, You are there, if I go down to the place of the dead, You are there.
If I ride the morning winds to the farthest oceans, even there Your hand will guide me, Your strength will support me.
If I try to hide in the darkness, the night becomes light around me.
For even darkness cannot hide from God; to You the night shines as bright as day. Darkness and light are both alike to You.
Jeremiah 23:24
“Can anyone hide themselves in secret places, so I shall not see them,” says the Lord.
“Do not I fill heaven and earth?” says the Lord.
“Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them?” declares the Lord. “Am I not everywhere in all of heaven and earth?” declares the Lord.
