Daniel 2
What a great day that will be when God sets up His Kingdom, and Jesus will rule as Kings of kings and Lord of lords forever. And there will be no end to the Kingdom of God.
I want to be in that Kingdom, and I hope you do too.
Hebrews 11:10
Abraham was confidently looking forward to a city with eternal foundations, whose builder and maker is God. A city whose architect and builder is God.
Only those who have accepted Jesus as their personal Savior and Lord, and are now part of the family of God will inherit eternal life and be in the Heavenly Kingdom.
We can see that we are living in the time of the end, as the words of the song says:
“Signs of the times are everywhere – keep your eyes on the eastern skies – lift up your heads – redemption draws near.
Jesus coming is very soon, and sin and its effect, eg. suffering, death, and disease, grief and sorrow and evil will be over.
Lord, we look forward to that day when your face we shall see. Please help us to be ready to meet you in the clouds of heaven.
Trust in Jesus, Who is the author and finisher of your faith. He will keep you faithful.
Jesus says, “Be faithful and I will give you a crown of life.”
Prayer.
Our Father in Heaven, what a mighty God You are, and we praise and honour You.
Thank You Lord God for revealing to Daniel the dream of Nebuchadnezzar and it meaning.
Lord, what You revealed is exactly what has happened in world history.
Now Lord, we are in time of distress of nations and all kinds of trials and tribulations.
But Lord, we have this hope within our hearts, hope in the coming of our Lord and Saviour Jesus. When Your Heavenly Kingdom will be set up, and there will be no more sin for the former things will pass away.
Lord Jesus, we look forward to that day when we will see Your face and worship You forever. When we will live in peace and harmony and interact with You and all the Holy angels.
Lord Jesus, please forgive of all our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We accept You as our personal Saviour and Lord, and we thank You for dying on Calvary’s cross to redeem us back to our Father God, the Great Creator and Sustainer of all life.
Lord, we ask You to increase our faith in You each and every day, and may we be always ready to meet You. We ask that You save us in Your Eternal Kingdom, we pray.
