1 Peter 1:3-5
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
To an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you.
God will keep us by His mighty power and by our faith in Him, and He offers us salvation and eternal life ready to be revealed in the last time.
All honour to God, the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ; for it is His boundless mercy that has given us the privilege of being born again, so that we are now members of God’s own family.
Now we live in the hope of eternal life because Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again, and is in Heaven with our Heavenly Father.
And God has reserved for His children, the priceless gift of eternal life; it is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay.
And God in His mighty power will make sure that you receive it, because you have accepted His Son, Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Lord, and because you trust in God.
Even though the going is rough for a while down here, be truly happy because there is wonderful joy and happiness ahead.
Eternal life will be yours on that last day. So be truly glad.
