Colossians 3:23
And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men.
Inspiration.
Whatever we do as Christians, we should do it to the glory of God.
We should do each task with joy, honesty and high integrity, because as Christians we are God’s representatives here on earth.
And other people will form opinion of Christians and the God we serve, by how we conduct ourselves.
So although we are not perfect people, let us try our utmost best to be honest, trustworthy and have high integrity in everything we do, because we do it to God, and not to people.
Prayer (for you)
Lord God,
I am so thankful to be part of Your family – the family of God.
I have been washed in the fountain (baptized) and cleansed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
O Lord, as the Hymn says,
” My faith looks up to You, O Lamb of Calvary, Saviour Divine.”
” Now hear me while I pray, and take all my sins away.”
” Now make me from this day, be wholly Thine.”
O Lord, please help me to be pleasing to You in whatever I do, and do it heartily to You.
Because I am a Christian, saved by Your grace, and I represent You here on earth.
So please help me to do everything with joy, with honesty and high integrity, as to You, O Lord.
I am part of Your family and I represent You here on this earth, and people are watching what I do as a Christian.
Lord Jesus, please forgive me if I ever do anything that is contrary to what I should do as a Christian.
I want to be a good Christian representative here on earth, and always be honest, trustworthy and of very high integrity.
O Lord, please help me from day to day to be pleasing to You, and glorify You in my life and in my activities.
I give You thanks and praise for Your Infinite love, Your saving grace, leading, guidance and protection.
I love and adore You.
