Psalms 94:19
In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul.
Inspiration.
God is our comfort and help in the good times as well as in times of distress, and He wants to give us calm in the distressful times.
So we need not worry or fret but instead seek the Lord with all our heart, soul and mind.
Seek Him in times when we feel overwhelmed and we have a hard time controlling our mind, our thinking and how we feel about things that are happening.
The Lord wants to give us HIs peace, calm us and give us strength for today and hope for tomorrow.
So have faith in Him, trust in Him and seek Him in the good times and also in times of distress that comes to everyone.
Prayer ( for you)
Our Eternal God,
You know all about me, and my cares and concerns and what my challenges and issues are.
I have come to seek You in prayer and tell You everything about my feelings and about things that are beyond my control.
O Lord, You are a God Who cares and is in control of everything, so I come to You, to seek You and ask for Your help.
To ask for Your guidance, and for Your comfort in times of distress, in situations that are beyond my ability to handle.
O Lord, I know that You are in control of everything and You will take care of situations for me.
Knowing this gives me peace – the peace of God that surpasses all understanding.
As the Hymn says.
” Days are filled with sorrow and care, hearts are lonely and drear.”
” Cast your care on Jesus today, leave your worry and fear.”
” Troubled soul, the Saviour can see, every heartache and fear.”
” Burden are lifted at Calvary, Calvary, Calvary, Jesus is very near.”
And the Holy Scriptures says,
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
Thank You Lord God, for always hearing my prayer, comforting me and taking away my anxieties.
Help me always seek You in prayer, and tell You everything and leave everything in Your loving Hands.
And remember that You are always there to help, comfort and guide me in the perfect way.
Please help me not to worry, fret or be anxious about anything, but instead take it to You in prayer, having faith and trust in You to take care of everything for me.
I glorify, exalt, honour, and I love You, and I give You thanksgiving and praise, O Lord God Almighty.
