Matthew 5:11-12
Jesus says,
” Blessed are you when they revile you and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.”
” Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”
Inspiration.
When people say false things about us, we should not worry or fret, instead we should rejoice because God can see what we have done and our reward will be great.
Also take everything to the Lord in prayer.
Prayer (for you)
Eternal God,
Thank You for Your Holy Scriptures that strengthens and encourages me today and gives me hope for tomorrow.
O Lord, please help me to not worry or fret when people say evil and false things about me.
Instead help me to focus on what I know is true, and pray about everything, because You will help me and make everything work out for my good.
O Lord Jesus, You know and understand exactly what we go through, because You went through the same thing also.
While You were here on earth, evil people said false things, and and did wicked things to You, so You can sympathize with us and the way that we feel, because You went through the same things.
Help me to do good and continue to let my light shine so that others may see You in me.
And help me to rejoice in You Lord God, because You see and know everything, and You will reward me in due time.
Thank You for Your loving watch care, tender mercies and compassions that are new every morning.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
