Psalms 23:1-3
The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul; he leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Inspiration.
The Lord wants to lead us, guide us, protect us and provide for us – He is our good Shepherd.
With the Lord we are safe and secure, and He seeks to save us.
Prayer (for you)
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for another day when I can come to You and seek You in prayer.
Thank You for the privilege of prayer.
What a wonderful opportunity that You have given to us, to be able to bring every issue, problem and concern to You.
The Sovereign God, the Creator God, and You hear my every prayer, and will answer with Your best for me.
Lord, thank You being my Good Shepherd – You take care of me, protects me, and provides for me, and keep me safe from the wolf – the enemy of my soul, who is trying to destroy me.
The Good Shepherd guides and protects the sheep from the wolf who is trying to destroy the sheep.
O Lord, how wonderful to know that I can be at peace in Your love, in Your guidance and in Your protection.
And that You restores my soul – and leads me in the path that leads to life eternal.
I love, honour, glorify, bless, and exalt You.
In Jesus’ precious name, I pray. Amen.
Hymn.
The Lord’s my Shepherd, I’ll not want.
He makes me to lie down in pastures green He leadeth me.
The quiet waters by.
Goodness and mercy all my life.
Shall surely follow me.
And in God’s house forever more.
My dwelling place shall be.
Glory, Hallelujah! Amen!
