Deuteronomy 6:5
” You shall love the Lord you God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.”
Inspiration.
Loving God is the most important commandment.
When we love God, and put Him first in our lives, and understand what life is all about, then everything fits in place, and we become obedient to Him and His Holy Scriptures.
Prayer (for you)
My Heavenly Father,
I love You with all my heart, my soul, my mind and my strength.
O Lord God, You first loved me.
Thank You for loving me more that I can even think or imagine.
And You demonstrated Your Infinite love for me by sending Jesus, Your Only Beloved Son, and my Only Beloved Saviour to pay the penalty for my sins.
Such love I cannot fully comprehend, but I give You thanks and praise for what You have done to save and redeem me.
O Lord, You never fail me and You never change, You are the same yesterday, today and forever.
People at times fail us, in their actions and words, but praise be to God, our Sovereign God, and Jesus Christ, Who never fails and never changes.
O Lord, You are always the loving, kind, gracious, compassionate, just, and full of tender mercies towards Your creation.
And I glorify, praise, love, adore, magnify and exalt You for what You have done and doing to make sure that I am saved.
O Lord God, humanity is in this conflict between good and evil, and I look forward to that wonderful day when sin and evil – the devil will be destroyed forever.
O Lord, You have done everything that is possible to make sure that I will be part of the family of God, and inherit eternal life through Jesus’ great sacrifice of love for me.
Lord, my desire is to be saved, to be part of the family of God, so I ask for Your continued help to live a godly life and be pleasing to You.
Praise be to God, and to You, Lord Jesus for Your amazing grace, Your Infinite love and Your everlasting gift of eternal life.
Glory. Hallelujah!
Lord, please help me to trust and obey You now and forever.
In Jesus’ precious name, I pray with thanksgiving. Amen.
Hymn.
O God, our help in ages past, our hope for years to come.
Our shelter from the stormy blast, and our eternal home!
Under the shadow of Thy Throne, still may we dwell secure.
Sufficient is Thine arm alone, and our defense is sure.
O God, our help in ages past, our hope for years to come.
Be Thou our guide while life shall last, and our eternal home!
