1 John 2:1

The Apostle John writes,

My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin.

And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

Inspiration.

When we depend on Jesus and the Holy Spirit to lead, guide and direct our lives, then we will have everything we will ever need to avoid sin.

But if we sin in our thought, words or actions, we can be assured that Jesus will forgive us and help us to get back on the straight and narrow way that leads to life eternal.

Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your amazing love and grace for me.

Thank You for sending Jesus to be my Saviour, Redeemer and my Advocate.

Lord Jesus, I ask for forgiveness of my sins, sometimes I sin in thought, words and action and I do not even realize it.

So please forgive me of all my sins, known and unknown and cleanse me with Your precious blood.

I bless, praise and give You thanks for what You have done,  now doing and will do for me.

In Jesus precious name, I pray. Amen.

 

 

 

 

 

Hebrews 10:35-39

For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise.

For yet a little while, and He Who is coming will come and will not tarry.

Now the just shall live by faith, but if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in them.

But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.

Inspiration.

Enduring to the end and being obedient to God in our Christian walk leads to many blessing and eventually to receiving eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Saviour.

And God is faithful to you and you will receive the reward that He has promised.

Prayer (for you)

Lord God,

How wonderful to know that I am part of the family of God.

And I am saved, justified (forgiven) and sanctified ( made holy), and some day soon when Jesus returns, I will be ( glorified), when I received the gift that is promised to me.

O Lord, please help me to hold on to You, keep pressing on to glory, and endure to the end.

Because Your Holy Scriptures says, ” those that endure to the end will be saved.”

And dear Lord, I want to be saved.

Lord Jesus, I want to see You face to face, my Saviour and Redeemer.

Please strengthen my faith, hope and trust in You, and help me daily to be pleasing to You, and do Your will.

Creator God, Your will for me is that I will follow You, worship You, and forsake the ways of this sinful world, and seek You will all my heart, soul and mind.

So that I will be saved in Your Eternal Kingdom.

Please forgive me of all my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness.

I praise and thank You for Your loving kindness, tender mercies and compassions that are new every day.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

 

 

 

perdition means eternal punishment and ruin.

 

Psalms 126:5

Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy.

Inspiration.

Sometimes we have challenges, hardship, trials and pain.

God tells us that we will have these things because of the arch-enemy of our souls.

The Holy Scriptures tells us that if we love God, then our tears are seeds that will one day bloom into great joy and happiness.

Prayer (for you)

Lord God,

Thank You for watching over me during the night and waking me up to see another day.

You are the Source and Sustainer of my life and I praise and give You thanks for Your loving kindness, mercies and Your loving watch care and protection.

Please be with me every moment of today.

And be my comfort and help in times of distress and challenges.

And please continue to lead and guide me in the way that leads to life eternal.

O Lord, sometimes times get hard, however it is so good to know that ” those who sow in tears will reap in joy.”

Thank You for these encouraging words from Your Holy Scriptures.

Thank You for loving me. I love You dear Lord.

Psalms 143:10

Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God.

Inspiration.

God is our Creator God, so we should learn to obey His will for us which leads to life eternal through Jesus Christ, our Saviour.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal Father in Heaven,

You are my God, teach me Your way, Your will, and give me  wisdom, knowledge and understanding of Your Holy Scriptures, so that I can obey You and grow closer and closer to You.

O Lord, please increase my faith in You.

Thank You for Your Plan of Salvation, and Your amazing grace that saves to the uttermost those who believe and accept Jesus as their Saviour and Lord of their life.

Lord Jesus, please forgive me of all my sins, iniquity and transgressions.

I ask for Your continue guidance and direction in my life.

I praise and adore You and I bless Your Holy Name.

In Your Holy Name, I pray. Amen.

 

 

2 Corinthians 13:14

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

Inspiration.

There are three Persons of the Trinity, the Creator God, Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

The Trinity (3 in One) work together for our good, and to save us from the arch-enemy of our souls.

And to give us joy in the Lord, and to help us to grow in grace and in the knowledge and understanding of God.

Prayer (for you)

Creator God,

I give thanks and praise for Your loving kindness and tender mercies and Your goodness.

Thank You for the Holy Sabbath day.

A day that You blessed and sanctified.

A day of rest and gladness.

Thank You Father God, Lord Jesus, and Holy Spirit for all that You have done for me, still doing for make sure that I am saved and redeemed from sin and destruction.

I thank You for Your Infinite love, mercies and compassions to me.

O Lord, You have done everything possible to redeem me, so there is no reason for me not to be saved.

Please help me to follow You all the way.

As the Hymn says,

“All the way my Saviour leads me. What have I to ask besides?

Can I doubt His tender mercies, Who through life has been my guide.

Heavenly peace, divinest comfort, here by faith in Him to dwell.

This will be my song through endless ages.

Jesus led me all the way.”

Lord Jesus, I am so glad to be part of the family of God, and I look forward to that wonderful day when I will see You, face to face in all Your power and magnificent glory.

Please help me to endure to the end and keeping pressing on to glory.

I thank You for Your amazing grace and the joy of Your salvation.

Isaiah 40:8

The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever.

Inspiration.

God’s word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path to show us the way to live a holy Christ-like life and leads us in the paths of righteousness.

And gives us good and holy words to meditate on and give us wisdom, knowledge and understanding of what life is all about.

Also gives us strength for today and hope for tomorrow – and teaches us the way to inherit eternal life through Jesus Christ our Saviour and Redeemer.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your Holy Scriptures, Your Holy Words that gives me hope, helps and encourages me as I journey along the Christian pathway.

How encouraging to know that I have Your Holy Scriptures to guide me, lead me, enlighten me and give me peace and keep my mind focused on You.

O Lord, only Your Words are holy, perfect, righteous, encouraging and gives safety and leads to eternal life.

But man’s heart, mind and words are sinful and evil continually according to the Bible.

Jesus says, ” Those things that proceed out of the mouth comes from the heart, and they defile a man.” Matthew 15:18

The heart ( mind) is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked; who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9

People will say things that are desperately wicked and sinful.

So our only hope and trust should be in God’s Holy Words.

O Lord, help me to have faith, hope and trust in You and in Your Holy Words that gives life, hope, encouragement, strength and increases my faith in You.

Please help me to read Your Holy Scriptures, and as I read give me an understanding heart by the power of Your Holy Spirit.

I thank You for Your goodness, Your tender mercies, Your loving kindness, and compassions that are new every day.

And I give You thanks and praise for Your Holy Words, that encourages, guides, directs and leads and shows me to the way to be saved in Your Eternal Kingdom, and receive the gift of eternal life.

Thank You Lord Jesus, for being the way, the truth and the life.

Your word is truth and it is life.

Yes Lord God, ” the grass withers, the flowers fade, but Your Holy Words never fades but stands forever.”

Praise the Lord! Glory Hallelujah!

Psalms 121:1

I will lift up my eyes to the hills – from whence comes my help?

My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.

He will not allow your foot to be moved; He Who keeps you will not slumber.

Inspiration.

God never sleeps. He is always watching over us every moment – every day with Infinite love, compassions and tender mercies.

So we do not need to fret, just put our faith and trust in God.

The Creator God of the Universe loves us and will never fail to protect us.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal Father in Heaven,

I look to You for help, guidance, and leading me in the paths of righteousness.

And showing me, helping me to make the correct decision, when I am faced with issues and the challenges of life.

O Lord, You know everything, see everything, so I will put my entire faith and trust in You, knowing beyond a shadow of doubt that You will lead me in the perfect way.

Please help me to remember to always seek You with all my heart, soul and mind because You are my constant help.

As the Hymn says,

O God, my help in ages past. My hope for years to come.

My shelter from the stormy blast, and our eternal home.

Under the shadow of Thy Throne, still may we dwell secure.

Sufficient is Thine arm alone, and our defense is sure.

O God, our help in ages past. Be Thou our guide while life shall last, and our eternal home.

I give You thanks and praise for Your loving kindness and tender mercies and compassions.

Jeremiah 7:23

The Lord God says,

” Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people.

” And walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well with you.”

Inspiration.

God desires for you to be a whole person and grow in the likeness of Jesus Christ, fruitful, and fulfilling His purpose for your life.

He also assumes full responsibility for your needs when you obey Him. Quote from Charles Stanley.

Prayer (for you)

Holy God,

Thank You for another day when I can seek You in prayer.

Thank You for the privilege of prayer.

Please help me to obey You and may all my ways be pleasing to You.

And dear Lord, I know that I fail in many ways.

And it is so good to know that You will forgive me and be my life’s guide.

Please help me to be more Christ-like and holy.

Please forgive me when I am not what I should be in my words, my thoughts and my actions.

Thank You O Lord, for providing for me, and for what You have done and will continue to do for my good.

O Lord God, please help me to walk in Your ways so that it will be well with me.

Ephesians 5:1

Therefore, be imitators of God as dear children.

Inspiration.

As children of God, and part of the family of God, we should walk in the good, perfect and holy ways of our Creator God.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal Father,

I am so glad to be part of the family of God, washed in the fountain and cleansed by the precious blood of Jesus, my Saviour.

Please help me to be pleasing to You, and walk in Your ways, speak Your words, and do what You want me to do.

I praise and adore You, dear Lord, and I bless, exalt and magnify You.

Please help me day by day to continue to walk the straight and narrow way that leads to life eternal.

Lord Jesus, please increase my faith in You, because You are the Author and Finisher (developer, perfector) of my faith.

Thank You for Your great Infinite love for me.

I give You thanks, praise and I love and adore You.

Micah 7:18

Who is God like you, pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage.

Inspiration.

We are sinful beings, yet God still loves us so much that He sent Jesus to pay the penalty for our sins.

What a loving, kind good, merciful and compassionate God.

Who, indeed is like our God?

Prayer (for you)

Eternal God,

How wonderful to know that You love me so much that You want to save me from sin, and make me part of the family of God.

You are the only true and living God, Who is Mighty to save and strong to deliver me from sin.

I give You thanks and praise for Your Plan of Redemption.

Thank You Lord Jesus, for doing for me what I could not do for myself.

For making the greatest sacrifice of love to save and redeem me back to my Creator God.

Your love is so amazing, Your grace so amazing and Your sacrifice of love is beyond my comprehension and so amazing.

Thank You for Your salvation so rich and free.

I love and adore You and I bless, glorify and exalt You.
