Proverbs 4:23

Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.

Devotion.

We should protect our heart – our mind from all sinful, wicked and worldly things because what we focus on does affect the way we think and what we do.

So let us focus on good, godly and holy things and through God’s Holy Scriptures and prayer seek God’s Holy Presence in our lives daily.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

Holy You are.

O Lord, please help me to focus on things that lead to life and life eternal through Jesus Christ, my Saviour.

And not focus on the things of this sinful world that leads to evil tendencies, sorrow, suffering and eventually eternal separation from my Creator God.

O Lord, I want to be pleasing to You in all my ways, so help me to focus on You, focus on glory and on Your Holy Presence in my life, on prayer and Your Holy Scriptures.

O Lord Jesus, I need Your help from day to day so that the things that I see and hear will not affect my spiritual life in any way.

Please lead and be my life’s guide as I journey along the Christian way.

Lord Jesus, please keep me from all wrong, and help me to walk in Your holy ways and have a closer personal relationship with You.

I love and adore You.

In Jesus’ precious name, I pray. Amen.

Proverbs 4:18

But the path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.

Devotion.

The just ( those who live holy and godly lives) are a shining light in this troubled corrupt and sinful world.

So let us continue to shine, pray, read the Holy Bible, and continue to praise and seek the Lord with all our heart, soul and mind.

Prayer.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for another day to be able to communicate with You, the God of the Universe, and tell You everything that is on my mind.

Yes, everything and maybe some things that I cannot tell anyone else, only You.

Because You understand me more that anyone, and You know what is best for me, and You always have my best interests in mind.

O Lord, please help me to live my life pleasing to You in all my ways – by living a Christian, holy and godly life.

So that I can be a shining light, so that I can shine as the sun in this sinful, troubled and corrupt world.

Lord, I need Your help from day to day, please continue to lead, guide and direct me as I journey along this pilgrim way.

And help me to shine brighter and brighter every day.

Shine for Jesus every day.

And when I fail in any way, please forgive and cleanse me from all unrighteousness.

I give You thanks and praise.

Matthew 24:44

Jesus said, ” Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”

Devotion.

Jesus is the Son of God and also the Son of man..

No one knows the time of Jesus’ second coming, this time not as in infant, but as King of kings and Lord of lords with all the Holy angels with Him to receive His redeemed of the earth.

He is telling us in the above scripture that we should be always ready, because He could come at any time – at an hour that we do not expect.

This is God’s timing, because He knows the best and perfect time for Jesus to return, so therefore we have to be prepared, be ready and stay ready.

Because in such an hour that we do not expect, Jesus will return.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

Holy, righteous, merciful, compassionate and just You are.

So loving, kind, good and gracious to us.

Thank You for Your amazing grace that saves to the uttermost all those who come to You seeking to be saved from sin, evil and the wicked one – the arch- enemy of our soul.

How wonderful to know that Jesus will return and this time not as a suffering Saviour, but as King of kings in all His majesty, splendour and glory to receive those of us, who have accepted Him as our Saviour and Lord.

O Lord Jesus, I want to be among the redeemed of the earth, I want to be there, I want to live in Heavenly places.

I look forward to that time when You will make all things new – there will be a new Heaven and earth, and there will be no more suffering, pain, sickness, sadness, disease or death, no more sin, evil and wickedness.

For the former things would have passed away, and You will make everything new.

O Lord, I believe in You, my faith, trust and hope is in You.

How great to be part of the family of God, washed in the fountain and cleansed by the precious blood of Jesus, my Saviour.

O Lord Jesus, please help me to endure, be faithful in my Christian journey, and be ready to meet You and stay ready.

Lord, please forgive me and cleanse me and make me wholly Thine.

Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, come in today and come in to stay.

I love and adore You, glorify and exalt You.

In Your Holy name, Lord Jesus. Amen.

Matthew 7:7

Jesus said, ” Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”

Matthew 21:22

” And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

Devotion.

Jesus said we should ask for what we need, seek Him in prayer, and have faith and believe that you will receive what you have asked for.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your Holy Scriptures that encourages me to ask so that I may receive, seek so that I may find and knock so that the door will be opened to me.

Yes, Lord Jesus, I am asking You to provide for me, and I am seeking You with all my heart soul and mind, and I am knocking so that the door will be opened to me.

O Lord Jesus, I know that You will provide for me in ways that I do not know about, or can think or imagine.

O Lord, please help me to believe and have faith in You, so that I will receive what I have asked for and because faith pleases You.

I give You thanks and praise for what You have done for me, and for what You will do for my good.

O Lord, You have been my help in ages past and my hope for years to come.

I love and adore You.

So have faith, trust and hope in Him.

He is the all-powerful, all knowing.

And all-seeing God.

Zechariah 10:12

” So I will strengthen them in the Lord, and they shall walk up and down in His name,” says the Lord.

Devotion.

God wants us be His disciples in this world, telling others of His amazing grace, Plan of Salvation, tender mercies, compassions and holiness.

And tell them that Jesus loves them and that He is coming soon to receive those of us who have accepted Him as their Saviour and Lord of their life.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

I give You all the honour, glory and praise that You deserve.

You are the only true and living God, and there is no other, but You.

O Lord, I ask for Your help from day to day to live my life holy and acceptable to You.

Lord, I want to be pleasing to You in all my ways.

Please forgive me of every sin, transgression and iniquity and cleanse me from all unrighteousness.

Wash and cleanse with Your Holy blood that was shed on Calvary.

Yes, Jesus, You paid it all for my salvation and redemption through Your great sacrifice of love on Calvary’s cross.

Please help me to be faithful, strengthen me in my faith, and help me to tell others of Your Infinite love, amazing grace and salvation so rich and free to anyone who comes to You seeking to be saved from sin.

What a wonderful God You are, Mighty to save and strong to deliver from sin and destruction.

O Lord Jesus, You made a way for me to be part of the family of God, washed in the fountain and cleansed by Your Holy precious blood.

And You also made a way for me to live eternally in Heavenly places with You.

What a wonderful day that will be when You return, and make all things new.

O Lord Jesus, please help me to be ready and stay ready, and keep pressing on to glory.

I give You thanks and praise for what You have done for me, and what You will continue to do to make sure that I am saved.

Please lead and guide me as I journey along the narrow pathway that leads to You, and to life eternal.

Psalms 109:2

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His Handiwork.

Devotion.

Look up in the sky on a clear night and you will see the starry Heavens – the stars and the moon.

What grandeur and majesty and our Creator God made them all.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal Father,

You are the all-powerful Creator God, the Creator of Heaven and earth, the sea, the springs of water, the sun, the moon and the all the stars, the vegetation, the trees, the mountains, and You created humanity in Your Image and after Your Likeness.

What a Mighty God, You are.

I praise and adore You, bless and glorify Your Holy name.

Yes, Lord, the Heavens declare Your glory, majesty, power and grandeur.

Lord Jesus, I thank You for Your great sacrifice of love to save me.

I praise and thank You for Your amazing grace and Your great sacrifice of love to redeem me.

Psalms 50:1, 48:10

The Mighty One, God the Lord, has spoken and called the earth. from the rising of the sun to its going down..

According to Your Name, O God, so is Your praise to the ends of the earth.

Devotion.

The Almighty deserves our praise, worship and adoration, for He created all things and He is the Source and Sustainer of our life.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

Holy You are.

The Lord God Almighty will save us from sin and destruction.

O Lord God, thank You for Your amazing grace and Plan of Salvation.

That saves to the uttermost anyone who comes seeking to be saved from sin.

O Lord, You are the God of my salvation, You are my refuge and strength, a present help, morning, noon and night and in my times of need.

I worship, praise, glorify and exalt You and bless Your Holy name, because You and You alone deserve my worship, praise and adoration.

Thank You for Your Infinite love, tender mercies and compassions that are new every morning.

Great is Your faithfulness to me through Your saving grace, Your watch care and protection.

I give You all the thanks and praise that You deserve.

I love You, Lord.

Jesus said,

“And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing you will receive.”

Devotion.

When we pray we must believe and have faith in God, in Jesus that He will do for us what we have asked of Him, and He can do even more than we have asked, or think or even imagine.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

My faith looks up to You – Creator God, the Creator of Heaven and earth and everything that exists.

You are the only true and living God and there is no other, but You.

I praise and glorify You now and forever.

O Lord, You know about my needs, so I bring everything to You in prayer, and I ask that You supply my needs according to Your goodness, mercies and compassions.

O Lord, hear my prayer and incline Thy ear to me.

I am praying to You because I know you hear and will answer me, to You O Lord God, I pray.

Lord Jesus, You have said that when we ask, we should believe that we will receive what we have asked for.

I believe in You and I have faith, please increase my faith day by day.

O Lord, I will patiently wait on Your answer to my prayer, because I know that You will.

My trust and hope is in You, O Lord God Almighty.

And I thank You for what You have done for me, and I also thank You in advance for what You will do for me.

O Lord, I will call on You – seek You in prayer with all my heart, soul and mind.

Because You are my Lord, in You I trust, hope and have faith.

I give You the praise and adoration that You, and only You deserve.

Jeremiah 29:12-13

Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.

And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

Devotion.

To seek the Lord is to get to know Him more, understand Him more, and worship praise and adore Him.

And take all our concerns, problems and issues to Him in prayer, because He is the only One Who sees down the corridor of time, and will always do for us what is in our best interests.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal Father,

I have come to seek You in prayer and supplication.

Thank You for the wonderful privilege of prayer that You have given to us – to be able to communicate with the Creator God of the Universe, the Cosmos.

How wonderful it is to know that You hear my prayer, and You listen to every word that I say.

And You are interested in every aspect of my life, and will always do for me what is in my best interest.

O Lord, please help me be obedient to You Holy ways, so that I can be pleasing to You.

And I will receive Your many blessing that You want to bestow on me.

Help me to seek You continually with all my heart soul and mind through prayer and Your Holy Scripture – meditating on Your Holy Scriptures, because I will find You, O Lord God Almighty.

Because Your Holy Word is a ” lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”

To show me the way that leads to You, and to eternal life through Jesus Christ, my Saviour.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Devotion.

God’s plans for us are always good and holy. Even though we may sometimes go through problems, we can always trust in and be hopeful in the Lord, because He loves us and will do for us more than we can ever think or imagine.

Prayer.

Heavenly Father,

How good, gracious and merciful You are to me and how wonderful to know that Your thoughts towards me are always good, holy and to give me a future and hope.

Yes, Lord, to give me hope and eternal life through Jesus Christ, my Saviour.

Thank You for Your loving kindness and all that You have done and will do for me.

O Lord, I know that You always have my best interests in mind, and will do for me more than I can think or imagine.

So my faith, trust and hope in You, and I will patiently wait on You and obey Your Holy Scriptures.

Lord, help me to be of good courage as I patiently wait on You, to do for me, what You and only You, the Creator God can do.

I give You thanks and praise.

My hope is built on nothing less.

Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness.

I dare not trust the sweetest frame.

But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.
