Proverbs 28:13

Those who cover their sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.

Inspiration.

The Holy Scriptures says, ” If we confess our sins God is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Below is a quote by Pastor Charles Stanley.

“Sin left covered and in the dark retain their awful power over us, while sins exposed to the light of truth through confession and repentance lose their ability to keep us bound.”

“Confession is not beating yourself up because of sin, but embracing the freedom Christ offers from its power.”

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your loving kindness and tender mercies towards me.

Thank You that You are always faithful and just to forgive me of every sin, iniquity and transgression.

O Lord Jesus, I have sinned in word, in thought and in action.

Please forgive me and cleanse me and make me wholly Thine, and totally and completely committed to You, my Saviour and Redeemer.

Help me to be pleasing to You in everything that I do, what I say, and in my thoughts.

O Lord, I can only do this with Your help, guidance and direction so please be with me moment by moment and day by day as I journey along this Christian pathway.

I give You thanks and praise for what You done to save me, and for Your continued daily guidance.

In Jesus’ Holy Name. Amen.

 

 

Matthew 11:28

Jesus says, ” Come to Me all who labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.”

Inspiration.

Everyone needs rest – rest from a hard day – rest from a week of heavy toil and labour.

Our soul need rest, our bodies need rest and our mind need rest.

And Jesus tells us to come to Him and He will give us rest, and the rest that Jesus gives is the best, and Jesus’s rest will refresh our weary soul when we come to Him.

So let us keep the Sabbath day holy, and enjoy the Sabbath rest that God has given to us.

Prayer (for you)

Father God,

I glorify, honour, exalt and magnify You, the only true and living God.

Thank You for giving to us this Holy Sabbath day, a day of rest and gladness.

The Holy Sabbath day that You sanctified, blessed and made holy.

Father God, You did all of Your Creative work in six days and You rested on the seventh day Sabbath.

You set an example for us to follow, because You created us, and You knew that we would be in need of a day of rest after six days of toil and hard work.

Thank You Father God, for Your Infinite love, tender mercies and compassions to us.

Dear Lord Jesus, You know that there may be some situations that are difficult for me to handle on my own, but nothing is too hard for You.

So help me to always seek You with all my heart, my soul and my mind, so that You can show me what to do, and guide me in the perfect way.

Also help me to ” come to You” so that You can refresh my weary soul.

I give You thanks and praise for refreshing my weary soul and for the hope, joy, and peace that I find in You.

I worship You, glorify, magnify, exalt and honour You.

And I love and adore You.

In Jesus’ precious name, I pray with thanksgiving. Amen.

 

 

 

Romans 6:23

The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Inspiration.

Sin leads to death and eternal separation from our Creator God.

When we repent and come to God through Jesus – Who paid the penalty for our sins by His sacrificial death on Calvary, then we will be forgiven and receive the gift of eternal life through Jesus.

Prayer (for you)

Father God,

Thank You for sending Jesus to pay the penalty for my sins, and to redeem, reconcile me back to You, my Creator God, the Source and Sustainer of all life.

What a loving, merciful, kind, compassionate, pitiful and just God, You are.

Mighty to save and strong to deliver Your children from sin and destruction.

O Lord, You made a way for me to be saved and live eternally in Heavenly places.

Lord Jesus, I look forward to that wonderful day when You return – not as the suffering Saviour, but as KING OF kings AND LORD of lords, in all Your power and magnificent glory with all the Holy Angels with You.

The Holy Scriptures says, ” Eyes has not seen, nor ear heard, nor entered into the heart of humanity, the things that God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9

Father God, I want to be there in Your Eternal Kingdom, and see You, my Creator, and Jesus Christ, my Saviour, face to face.

I praise and give You thanks for doing everything that is possible to save me from sin and give me eternal life.

And for forgiving me from sin and making me part of the family of God.

I love and adore You and I bless and glorify You.

Micah 7:18

Who is a God like You, pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage.

Inspiration.

God’s Infinite, abundant and eternal love for us and His amazing saving grace is beyond measure and He wants us to be saved from sin and destruction.

And become part of the family of God, washed in the fountain and cleansed from our sins and iniquity by the precious blood of Jesus.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

Please guide me with Your Mighty Hand.

Keep me safe and secure under the shadow of Your Wings, direct  me in the way that leads to life eternal through Jesus.

Father God, I give You thanks and praise for sending Jesus to be my Saviour and Redeemer.

Lord Jesus, I give You thanks and praise for coming to earth, dwelling among us, and showing us the way to be reconciled back to our Creator God, Your Father and our Father.

You made the greatest sacrifice that anyone could ever make, when You shed Your Holy precious blood on Calvary for my redemption.

I humbly ask for Your forgiveness of every sin, iniquity and transgression in my life.

O Lord, sometimes we sin and do not even realize what we have done.

So I repent of anything that is not pleasing to You, and I ask for You to cleanse me and make me fully consecrated to You.

Thank You for loving me so such that You paid the ultimate sacrifice to save me.

Lord God, Lord Jesus, I glorify, praise and honour You.

In Your precious name, I pray. Amen.

 

 

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Inspiration.

Our salvation is not dependent on our works, what we do, but on God’s grace and what Jesus did for us on Calvary’s cross.

When we accept Jesus as our Saviour and Redeemer we receive God’s salvation so rich and free.

And at the time of our baptism we also receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit helps us to understand God’s Holy Scripture,  helps to lead, guide and direct us into God’s truth, helps us to be obedient to God, helps us resist the evil one, and live a holy God-centered life.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

How great You are.

Thank You for Your Plan of Salvation, so rich and free to everyone who accepts Jesus as their Saviour.

O Lord, thank You for Your saving grace.

Your grace – is giving to sinners what they do not deserve through Jesus Christ, our Saviour.

Grace is God’s unmerited favour – so when we have faith in God,  He gives to us sinners, His unmerited favour,  forgives our sins, and gives to us eternal life through Jesus Christ.

And we are now part of the family of God, washed in the fountain and cleansed by the precious blood of Jesus.

I thank and praise You, Lord God, Lord Jesus, for Your saving grace and sacrifice of love to save me.

I love and adore You, and I bless Your Holy Name.

Proverbs 16:20

Whoever trusts in the Lord, happy are they.

Inspiration.

Our complete joy is found in trusting and obeying the Lord God, so that  He can help and guide us to become all that He created us to be.

True happiness comes from having faith, trust and obeying our Creator God.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal Heavenly Father,

In You I trust.

You are the Creator God, the only true and living God, and there is no other, but You.

O Lord God, in You I live, I move, and have my being.

You are the only Source and Sustainer of all life.

What a Mighty God, You are, Mighty to save and strong to deliver Your Creation from sin and destruction.

Please lead, guide and direct me each and every day in the perfect, good and holy way.

And help me to have more faith, hope and trust in You and obey Your Holy Scriptures.

As the Hymn says, ” Father, lead me day by day ever in Thine own sweet way.

Teach me to be pure and true, and show me what I ought to do.”

Father God, please help me to trust and obey You, and seek You with all my heart, soul and mind, and You will show me what I should do in every situation.

Lord Jesus, help me to realize that true happiness and joy comes from knowing You and accepting You as my Saviour and Lord.

As the Holy Scriptures says, ” the joy of the Lord is my strength.”

Thank You for loving me and making the greatest sacrifice of love to save and redeem me.

Jeremiah 17:9

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it.”

Inspiration.

Humanity’s heart (mind) can be deceptive, wicked and unreliable.

So we need the Lord to help us to be victorious over the deceptive and wicked people in this sinful world.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal God,

I thank You for another day when I can praise You, and seek You with all my heart, my soul and my mind.

Please lead me in the way that leads to life eternal.

Lord Jesus, ” You are the way, the truth and the life.”

And there is no other way, because You have the truth, and through You, I have eternal life.

Thank You Lord for being my life’s guide, and showing me the path of life, and helping me in times of turmoil or distress.

Please help me to not get distressed when trials and challenges come my way, as it will come to everyone.

O Lord, help me to always turn to You, so that You can help and guide me in being victorious over the evil one and the evil tendencies of people.

O Lord Jesus, You were and You are victorious, and if I hold on to You, I will be victorious also.

I give You praise and thanks for Your loving kindness and tender mercies towards me.

I love and adore You.

Romans 8:37

In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him Who loved us.

Inspiration.

God loves us with an Infinite, eternal and everlasting love and He wants to do for us, good and wonderful things.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for You Your goodness, tender mercies, compassions and pity for me.

Please help me to always remember that You are always there to help, guide and lead me and make me victorious.

And Your love for me is Infinite and everlasting, and You are always willing to do for me what is good and perfect.

O Lord Jesus, You have been a conqueror and victorious over the arch-enemy, and I also can be a conqueror and victorious over sin.

Please continue to lead me in the paths of righteousness, and save me in Your Eternal Kingdom.

Numbers 6:24-26

The Lord bless and keep you, the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you.

The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.

Inspiration.

God loves to bless His people with His peace that surpasses all understanding.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

Holy is Your name.

Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

O Lord, I look forward to that wonderful day when all Your will be done on earth.

When there will be no more sickness, death, pain, suffering, sadness, distress and perplexities and no more wars.

What a wonderful day that will be when You return – not as the suffering Saviour, but as KING OF kings, and LORD of lords, in all Your power and magnificent glory, and with all the Holy Angels with You.

O Lord Jesus, I look forward to that wonderful day, please help me be ready to meet You when You return to receive Your redeemed people.

Help me to continue on the narrow pathway that leads to life eternal, and keep pressing on to glory.

Thank You Lord Jesus, for Your great sacrifice of love to save and redeem me.

Ephesians 5:19-20

And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit.

Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.

Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Inspiration.

Being filled with the Holy Spirit means that we live our life pleasing to God.

We live a holy and God-centered life, and the Holy Spirit will help us to stay on the straight and narrow pathway that leads to eternal life.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit Who helps me in my Christian journey.

Thank You for Your leading, guidance and direction each day and helping me to be pleasing to You.

I praise and thank You, Father God, Lord Jesus, and Holy Spirit for helping me, and doing so much to make sure that I am saved from sin and destruction.

O Lord, please be with me and my family today, protect us and keep us safe and secure under the shadow of Your Wings.

I give You thanks and praise for the joy of Your salvation, and for Your Infinite and eternal love for me.

I glorify, honour, exalt You, and I love and adore You.
