Matthew 5:37

Jesus says, ” Let your “Yes” be “Yes” and your “No,”  “No”. For  whatever is more than these is from the evil one.”

Inspiration.

Jesus is telling us that we should not take oaths. We should just answer ” yes or no” and leave it at that.

As Christians our words should be trustworthy.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal God,

Thank You for Your Holy Scriptures that guides and direct, and lead me in the path of holiness.

Please help me to be trustworthy in my words, and in my character.

O Lord Jesus, You know that I need Your help each and every day to be pleasing to You.

In my thoughts, words and deeds.

Please help me to speak the truth at all times.

If I have sinned in my words, please forgive me and cleanse me and make me clean.

I praise and give You thanks for Your forgiveness, healing and restoration.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

 

 

 

Jeremiah 23:24

” Can anyone hide himself in secret places, so I shall not see him?” says the Lord.

” Do I not fill heaven and earth?” say the Lord.

Inspiration.

God is the only true and living God. The Creator God Who gives us the breathe we breath.

And He sees and knows everything, today, tomorrow and forever.

There is absolutely nothing, or nowhere that we can hide from Him.

 

Prayer (for you)

Eternal Father in Heaven,

You are wise, powerful, and there is nothing in this world that escapes Your knowledge and view.

How wonderful and great You are.

I cannot wait for You to get rid of the devil, evil, sin and wickedness.

So Your creation  – so that we can live in peace, harmony, joy and happiness and contentment with You forever and ever.

Without any sadness, sorrow, disease, pain, death, trouble and distress, for the former things – sinful things will be no more.

O Lord Jesus, there are signs of the end times everywhere, and I look forward to that wonderful day when You will return.

Please help me to be ready always and stay ready, because Your coming is very imminent.

I give You thanks and praise for Your goodness, kindness, tender mercies and compassions to me.

Please continue to lead me in the way everlasting,  and keep me under the shadow of  Your wings where I am safe and secure.

Jesus says, ” Where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

Inspiration.

God’s Holy Spirit is with every Christian, but He says He will be with us in a very special way when we gather together to seek Him in prayer, worship and to encourage each other.

Prayer ( for you)

Eternal God,

I honour, glorify and give You thanks and praise for another day when I can communicate with You in prayer.

And tell You all my concerns and challenges.

And You will incline Your ear to me and grant me Your peace, and help, guide and direct me in the perfect way.

I thank You for Your promise of the Holy Spirit to be with me to comfort and help me.

And that when we gather to pray Your Holy Spirit, Holy Presence is with us.

And also when I pray by myself, Your Holy Spirit is also there to help me, guide me and teach me to pray.

What a wonderful God, You are, mighty to save and strong to save Your creation from sin and destruction.

Thank You for Your amazing love and saving grace.

I love and adore You, dear Lord.

Psalms 37:4

Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.

Inspiration.

We delight in the Lord when we rejoice in the God of our salvation.

And be glad and happy in the Lord and in our personal relationship with Him.

Knowing that we can take everything to the God of the Universe in prayer and He hears us and will answer our prayer with the best for us.

Then our desires will be God’s desire for us.

God’s desires for us are the ones that will give us joy, peace, hope and everlasting contentment.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

I delight in You, the God of my salvation, my Creator and Sustainer of my life.

I give You thanks and praise for Your Infinite and abundant love for me.

For Your loving watch care and protection from the arch-enemy.

O Lord God, I pray that Your desires for me will also become my desires as well.

You are the Omnipotent (all powerful) God, and You are in control of everything, today, tomorrow and for all eternity.

So I put my total faith, hope, trust and confidence in You because You have my best interest in view.

I thank You in advance for giving me the desires of my heart.

I am so thankful for my personal relationship with You, and I will continue to seek You in prayer and Bible study, and look to You.

Pressing on to glory and eternal life through Jesus Christ, my Saviour.

O Lord, thank You for salvation so rich and free,  and Your loving kindness, tender mercies and compassions to me.

I confess my sins and ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing.

Matthew 24:44

Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of man (Jesus)  is coming at an hour you do not expect.

Inspiration.

Jesus is the Son of God, and the Son of man.

Prayer.

Our Heavenly Father,

How great and Holy, You are.

I praise and adore You, I honour and magnify You, loving Creator God.

I come to You with a humble and repentant heart, and I ask You to forgive me, heal me, and restore me.

As Your Holy Scriptures says, ” restore to me the joy of Your salvation.”

Yes, Lord, I need Your joy, Your forgiveness, Your healing and restoration.

Lord Jesus, I know that Your return is imminent, because signs of the times are everywhere.

As the song says, ” signs of the times are everywhere, there is a brand new feeling in the air”

” Keep your eyes on the eastern sky, lift up your heads, redemption draws near.”

Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Jesus is coming again to receive those who have accepted Him as their Saviour.

Praise the Lord, I believe, I have accepted Jesus, I have asked for forgiveness of my sins, and I am cleansed by the precious blood of Jesus, my Saviour.

O Lord, please help me come to You with a repentant heart every day, because sometimes we sin in our thoughts, in our words and in our actions unaware.

As Your Holy Scriptures says, ” If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Thank You Lord Jesus, for these encouraging words.

What a wonderful and great day it will be, when I will see You,  Lord Jesus my Saviour, face to face in all Your power and glory.

Please help me to keep going forward in faith, looking to You, and pressing on to glory.

My greatest desire is to be saved from sin and destruction.

Dear Lord Jesus, please help me to be ready and stay ready because You can come any day now.

I will rejoice in the God of my salvation, I am redeemed, forgiven, healed and restored.

Thank You for Your amazing grace and Your sacrifice of love to redeem, and save me in Your Eternal Kingdom.

1 Peter 5:7

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty Hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.

Casting all your cares on Him, for He cares for you.

Inspiration.

As the song says, ” Be not dismayed whatever betide, God will take care of you.

Beneath His wings of love abide, God will take care of you.

All you may need He will provide, God will take care of you.

Through days of toil when your heart doth fail, God will take care of you.

When dangers fierce your path assail, God will take care of you.

Nothing you ask will be denied, God will take care of you.

No matter what may be the test, God will take care of you.

Our Eternal God,

I thank You that I can bring everything to You in prayer, anything that is of concern to me, any issues that I may have.

Thank You for the privilege of prayer, and hearing and answering my prayers.

You are such a loving, good, kind and merciful God, and I  worship You, praise and magnify You, O Lord God Almighty.

I humbly ask for Your guidance and direction today and every day.

And for Your loving watch care and protection to me.

Psalms 107:19

Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses.

Inspiration.

Let us seek the Lord at all times, and build a personal relationship with Him.

So that when trouble and distress comes, and it will come, because we live in a sinful world, and trouble and problems come to everyone.

When we cry out to the Lord, He will save us from our distresses, and make a way where there seem to be no way.

As the song says, ” God will make a way where there seems to be no way.”

” He works in ways we cannot see and He will make a way for me.”

” With love and strength for each new day, He will make a way for me.”

Prayer ( for you)

Heavenly Father,

I am so thankful for my personal relationship with You, and knowing that You are always there for me.

And You will give me peace in the midst of the storms of life.

Your  peace that no one else can give to me, the peace that surpasses all understanding.

O Lord, I bring all my cares, my concerns, my problems, my distresses to You.

And I ask You to intervene in my situation, and make a way for me.

Lord, You see what I cannot see, and know what I do not know.

So I am seeking You with my whole heart, mind, and soul and asking for Your guidance.

Because I know that You have, You want the best for me, and You will make a way for me where there seem to be no way.

So please guide me, show, direct, lead, help and save me.

I give You thanks and praise and I honour and glorify You.

Hebrews 4:16

Let us therefore come boldly to the Throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Inspiration.

It is so wonderful to know that we can come to God’s Throne of grace in prayer at anytime and we will find the help that we need in our times of trouble, distress and challenges.

As the song says, ” O God, our help in ages past, our hope for years to come.”

Our shelter from the stormy blast, and our defense is sure.”

Prayer ( for you)

Our Eternal God,

I come boldly to Your Throne of grace, where there is always help, guidance and direction for me.

I thank You so much for the privilege of prayer, when I can tell You everything that is on my mind, anything that I am concerned about, and You will help and direct me in the perfect way.

You are such a loving, good, compassionate and merciful God, Who is Mighty to save us from the evil one and from sin.

And You are always willing to show me what to do when I am dealing with any issues, challenges or problems.

Please help me always remember that You are just a prayer away.

Also I ask You to increase my faith, my trust and confidence in You, each and every day, as I journey along the Christian pathway.

Lord Jesus, I thank You for the blessed hope that I have in You, and I look forward with great anticipation to that great day, when I will see You face to face, my dear Lord and Saviour.

Thank You for Your loving kindness, tender mercies, Your forgiveness, Your amazing grace and sacrifice of love to save  and redeem me.

O Lord, I honour, glorify, exalt, magnify and I love and adore You.

Proverbs 4:23

Keep ( guard) your heart with all deligence, for out of it springs the issues of life.

Inspiration.

Whatever we think, watch, listen to will affect our minds and our thinking.

If we dwell on worldly things, sinful things, it will influence and have an effect on what we do,  what we think, and the words that we speak.

So let us fill our minds with good thoughts, good actions, and good words.

Fill our hearts ( our minds) with God’s Holy Words that is ” lamp to our feet and a light to our path”

To show us the way to resist the evil one, and how to live a Godly, holy, Christian, good life that leads to salvation and life eternal through Jesus Christ, our Saviour.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

Please guard my heart, my mind, my thinking.

Please guide me only to those things that edify, and will lead me in the paths of holiness.

Because whatever I surround myself with, will influence and affect what I do, what I say, and my thinking process.

O Lord Jesus, please give me a clear mind and help me to focus on You, look to You for guidance and direction.

So that You can guide the avenues of my mind, and I can resist sin and live a holy and consecrated life.

And be pleasing to You in everything that I do, what I say and my thoughts.

O Lord Jesus please forgive me of every sin, and cleanse me from anything that is unlike You.

I ask that You help me to continue to go forward, and press on,  looking to You, Lord Jesus, the Author and Finisher (perfector) of my faith.

Proverbs 1:10

My son, my daughter. if sinners entice you, do not consent.

Inspiration.

Let us remember that sin is devastating and sin destroys us.

So let us follow the Lord, He will give us His wisdom, and help us to overcome sin and sinners, and give us life eternal through Jesus Christ, our Saviour.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal Father in Heaven,

I want to be an overcomer, a conqueror over sin, and sinners.

Please help me and give me the courage not to be enticed by sin and sinners in their sin and folly.

O Lord, I want to be saved from sin and destruction, and be saved in Your Eternal Kingdom.

Please forgive me and cleanse me from every sin, whether in word, in thought or actions.

Please help me to trust and obey, and have faith and hope in You always.

I ask that You continue to lead and guide me in the way that leads to life eternal.

O Lord, my desire is to be saved, please help me, I pray.
