1 Peter 2:11

Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul.

Devotion.

When we face opposition and end up wanting to “fit in,” the temptation to compromise our convictions becomes great. The trouble comes when we forget that this world is not our home. Therefore we must have an eternal perspective and remember we are only strangers and pilgrims here on earth. Quote by Charles Stanley.

As Christians we are just passing through, our real home is in Heaven with God and with Jesus, our Saviour.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

How wonderful to know that as a Christian, I am just a pilgrim, a soujourner here on earth and I am just passing through.

My real home – my eternal home is in Heaven with You and with Jesus.

This makes me so very happy to know that my real home is in  Heaven with You.

I look forward to that wonderful day when I will see You face to face in all Your power and glory.

O Lord, Please help me to resist the temptations of this evil, corrupt world, and focus on Jesus, Who is the Author and Finisher of my faith.

Yes, help me to focus on eternal life through Jesus Christ, my Saviour and Lord.

I praise and give You thanks for Your goodness and compassions to me.

I love You, Lord God, Lord Jesus.

Jeremiah 23:24

” Can anyone hide themselves in secret places, so I shall not see them? says the Lord. ” Do I not fill Heaven and earth” says the Lord.

We can never hide from God, He sees and knows everything, and He is present everywhere.

The Lord is never too busy to listen to us, hear our every prayer, although He manages the Universe, the Cosmos, He still has His ear attentive to our prayers and our needs.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

How wonderful to know that You are never too busy to hear my prayer, listen to my cry for help, for protection, and to provide for my every needs.

O Lord, You are God and there is no other, but You, You sit high and look low.

I give You thanks and praise for Your loving watch care and protection from day to day.

Lord, You see everything, and You know everything, and You are present everywhere at the same time.

What a Mighty God, You are, and You always have time for me, You are never too busy and You always hear my prayers.

And You will answer with Your best for me in every situation.

O Lord, thank You for Your Holy Scriptures that gives me strength for today and hope for tomorrow.

Please be with me and family today, lead, guide and keep us safe under the shadow of Your Holy Wings, where we are safe and secure from all alarms.

Hebrews 11:6

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for anyone who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Faith is very important in our relationship with God, we must believe that He exists and that He will guide us, and His plans for us is good, perfect, and He wants to save us.

So let us have faith in God, and bring everything to Him in prayer, every decision that we have to make – take it to the Lord in prayer and ask for His guidance.

Heavenly Father,

Hallowed be Your Holy Name.

Your Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

I thank You for all Your goodness and compassions to me.

O Lord, my complete faith and confidence is in You, and I believe that You are God, my Creator God, and that You are a rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek You.

Yes, Lord, I have come to seek You with all my heart, soul and mind.

Lord Jesus, I ask for forgiveness of every sin, iniquity and transgression.

Thank You for Your great sacrifice to save and redeem me.

At this time I bring every decision that I have to make, I bring it to You and I ask for Your guidance and direction in my situation.

I also bring every care and concern to You as well, because I know You, and only You, know the best, perfect way that will lead to good and perfect outcomes.

Psalms 62:8

Pray without ceasing, pray anytime, anywhere, always have a spirit of prayer, pour out your heart to the Lord, and tell Him everything.

Prayer is our connection to Creator God and to Jesus, our Saviour.

The Lord understands us and He wants to help us and guide us in the holy, good and perfect way.

Have faith and trust in the Lord at all time, He is indeed a refuge for us.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the privilege of prayer.

How wonderful to know that I can communicate with, I can talk to the God of the Universe at anytime.

And also talk to Jesus, my Saviour, anytime, anywhere and my prayer is heard and I can have the blessing of abiding prayer,.

And also have my own close personal connection through prayer.

O Lord, I praise, magnify, glorify and give You thanks for all that You have done for me and what You will continue to do.

Yes, I need You every moment, every hour to guide me as I journey along the Christian pathway.

Just as physical food nourishes the body, prayer nourishes the soul, and keeps me in close contact with Creator God and Jesus, my Saviour.

Lord, please help me to pray more, read the Holy Bible more, so that I can gain more knowledge, understanding and learn more about Your Holy, good and perfect ways.

And have a closer walk with You.

Be confident that the Lord will meet every need that You have. Just have faith and trust in God and also be obedient to His Holy ways.

My faith, hope and trust is in You, the Creator God, the Source and Sustainer of my life.

O Lord, I am confident that You will provide for my every need, and do for me what is best in every situation.

O Lord, You know what my needs, my cares and concerns are, so at this time I bring everything to You in prayer, because I know that You hear me and will answer my prayer.

O Lord, please help me to be of good courage as I wait on You.

The Lord hears every prayer that we pray for help, for protection, for our needs, for healing, for forgiveness, for salvation, for family and friends, and whatever we want to to pray about.

Therefore, bring every concern, every issue, every problem to Him in prayer, He hears your voice, your prayer and He will answer your prayers and will do for you what is in your best interests.

So keep praying, pray without ceasing, pray earnestly and diligently, pray at anytime, morning, noon or night – any hour, every hour is prayer time.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for another day to seek You in prayer and supplication.

Thank You for the privilege of prayer when I can tell You everything that is of concern to me.

Your Holy Scriptures says, ” bring all our cares to You because You care for us.”

Psalms 22:27

All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord; and all the families of the nations shall worship before Him.

Devotion.

Creator God deserves our worship, praise and adoration.

Because He created all things and by His will they exist and were created.

He created the sun, moon, stars, the seas, the spring of water, the birds, the animals, the majestic mountains, the food we eat and the herbs and the vegetation.

And He created humanity in His Image after His Likeness.

Let us remember and worship the Holy God, Creator God for He is more than worthy of our worship, praise and adoration.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

You are the Great Creator God, Who made all things that exist, and You are the Source and Sustainer of life and the breath of life.

I worship, praise and adore You, magnify and exalt You, O Lord God Almighty on this Your Holy Sabbath day.

A day that You blessed, sanctified – made holy, a day of rest and gladness.

O Lord, You set an example for us when You rested from Your created work on the seventh day.

Thank You for Your Infinite love, compassions and tender mercies to us.

You created us, so You knew that we would need a day to rest after six days of toil and activities.

The Holy Sabbath day of rest – to worship, praise, glorify and exalt You, the only true and living God.

O Lord God, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit – the Trinity – how wonderful to know You, and to praise and worship You.

Help me to always remember that You are the Creator God and You, only You deserve my worship and praise.

2  Peter 3:9

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Devotion.

The Lord is very, very patient with us.

He has made a way for us to be saved, and He has also given us free will to choose or reject salvation.

However, those who reject His offer of salvation so rich and free will have to pay the penalty for their own sins – eternal death.

Jesus has already paid the penalty for our sins, so let us believe in Jesus and accept Him as our Saviour.

Yes, choose Jesus as your Saviour and you will receive God’s gift of eternal life.

Heavenly Father,

Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty, the great ” I Am.”

The Creator God of heaven and earth and everything that exists.

Thank You for another day to seek You in prayer and supplication.

A time to grow in grace and in the knowledge and understanding of You, Lord God.

Thank You for Your Plan of Salvation so rich and free to everyone who comes to You seeking to be saved from sin.

O Lord, how loving, kind, compassionate and of tender mercies You are toward us.

You are not willing that anyone should perish, that is the reason You are so longsuffering (so patient with us)  waiting on us to make our ” call and election sure.”

Lord Jesus, I believe in You, and I accept You as my Saviour and Lord.

I repent of every sin and I ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing with Your precious blood.

As the Holy Scriptures says, ” choose Jesus and live.”

I choose You Lord Jesus, as my Saviour and I thank You for the gift of eternal life through Your great sacrifice of love for me.

I look forward to that wonderful day when I will see You face to face in all Your power and magnificent glory as King of kings and Lord of lords.

Lord Jesus, please continue to lead and guide me in Your Holy ways.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only Beloved Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

Devotion.

God loves us so much that He had to make a way for us to saved from the curse of sin, and become part of the family of God, and receive the gift of eternal life through Jesus.

Jesus came to save and redeem us, He shed His precious blood for our redemption.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your Infinite love and compassions to us, Your creation.

Thank You for sending Jesus to be my Saviour and Redeemer.

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for coming to earth, showing us the way, and ultimately shedding Your precious blood for my salvation.

I do not have adequate words to say how much I am grateful to You for what You have done for me and what You will continue to do, in order to make sure I am saved and sanctified.

Please continue to lead, guide and direct me in the way that I should go – the straight and narrow way that leads to life eternal.

I confess every sin, iniquity and transgression and I humbly ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing from sin.

Lord Jesus, how wonderful to know that You did not come to condemn me, but to save me from the curse of sin.

I love and adore You, I believe in You, and I magnify and exalt You.

God’s gift of eternal is for everyone who accepts Jesus as their Saviour and Lord, confess their sins, and accept the opportunity of having their own close personal relationship with the God of the Universe, and Jesus Christ, our Saviour.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

You are the Creator God, the only true God and there is no other but You.

You created all things and by Your will we exist and were created.

Thank You for Your amazing Plan of Salvation to save me – to save everyone who believes and accepts Jesus as their Saviour.

And diligently seek You, O Lord God Almighty- in order to get to know You, because You are a rewarder of those who diligently and earnestly seek You.

Seek You through Bible reading, Bible study and daily prayer.

O Lord, how wonderful to know that I can pray at any time, morning, noon, night, any moment, any minute, any hour, and You hear my cry, my prayer and will answer me.

You are the Creator God, the Source, the Sustainer of my life, and the breath that I breathe comes from You.

I give You all the honour, glory and praise that You deserve.

Thank You for Your amazing grace and Infinite love for me.

And Your gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ, my Saviour.
