Psalms 42:11

Why are you cast down, (sad) O my soul? And why are disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I shall yet praise Him. The help of my countenance and my God.

Inspiration.

Sometimes we feel sad, depressed and discouraged because of issues in life and we live in a sinful, troubled world.

During these times we should focus on God, and put our faith, hope and trust in Him, and He will help us to be victorious over sin and sinners.

And God encourages us through His Holy Scriptures.

And just being able and knowing that we can take every concern and problem to the God of the Universe, and He hears our prayers, should encourage us.

And He understands what we are going through, and He will give us His grace and tender mercies, show us what to do, and make a way for us when there seem to be no way.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal God,

I come to You in prayer and I bring my cares, my concerns, my problems to You, and I humbly ask for You to help me and give me Your guidance.

O Lord, You are my strength when I am weak, and Your Holy Scriptures give me hope for today and encourages me as I journey along life’s pathway.

And I have learned to trust in You, because I know that You love and care for me with an Infinite and everlasting love, and You always have my best interests in mind.

Please be with me today, and help me to focus on You, focus on glory, because whatever we focus on, that is what we become.

And I want to become more like You, Lord Jesus, and be  pleasing to You in all my ways.

I give You thanks and praise for what You will do for me.

O Lord Jesus, You are my help and my countenance.

And You have the solution to every issue, every problem, so I confidently leave everything in Your loving Hands.

In Your precious name, I pray. Amen.

Isaiah 7:14

He (Jesus) is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him.

Inspiration.

Jesus is coming again soon to receive all those who have accepted Him as their Saviour and Redeemer.

Let us be ready and stay ready because we know not the hour or day of His return, it could be at morn, at noon or during the night.

Signs of Jesus soon coming are everywhere.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal Father in Heaven,

You alone are holy.

Thank You for Your Plan of Salvation, to save to the uttermost all those who believe, have faith, and accepted Jesus as their Saviour and Lord.

O Lord Jesus, I look forward with great anticipation to that great and glorious day when You return as “King of kings and Lord of lords in all Your power and magnificent glory to receive Your redeemed.

O Lord, I want to be saved and be part of the family of God, please help me to be ready and stay ready.

Psalms 100:3

Know that the Lord, He is God, it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

Inspiration.

God is our Creator, our Heavenly Father, and we are the sheep of His flock.

We were formed by His Hand, so let us magnify, glorify and exalt the only true and living God, and worship at His footstool, for He is God, and God alone.

Prayer (for you)

Our loving Heavenly Father,

Holy You are, righteous You are, loving and compassionate, just and of tender mercies.

I love and adore You, and I bless Your Holy Name.

O Lord, You have created me, You have given me the breath of life, and You are the Source of my life.

And I am confident in the God of my salvation.

Thank You for being Good Shepherd, and taking care of us, guiding us in the safe, good and perfect way.

Please continue to be my guide, and direct me in the way that leads to life eternal through You, Lord Jesus.

Thank You for what You have done for me, and still doing to make sure that I am saved.

I will call upon You, seek You, worship You now and forever.

Matthew 15:8

Jesus said, ” These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honour Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me.”

Inspiration.

” Human beings have a natural fondness for pomp, ceremony, and ritual.

There is nothing wrong with that – unless it begins to replace a genuine connection with the the true and living God.

Our Lord wants our hearts (our mind) and not just our lip service, so we must be careful, so that everything we do is out of obedience and love for Him, and not for show.” Quote from Charles Stanley.

Prayer (for you)

O Holy God,

I love You with all my heart, my soul and my mind.

Thank You for Your love for me, and You showed that You love me by sending Jesus to save me, and reconcile me back to You, my Creator God.

And also to make me part of the family of God.

Lord God, Lord Jesus, I give You thanks and praise for Your amazing love and grace, and Your great sacrifice to save humanity – to save me from sin and destruction.

Please help me to be pleasing to You, and worship and serve You with my whole heart, my mind.

O Lord, I desire a close connection to You, and I want to be completely genuine in my Christian life, and not just have lip service.

Please help me to be faithful, and endure to the end, and follow You all the way, so that I can be saved in Your Eternal Kingdom.

Please help me to keep pressing on to glory, keeping going forward in faith, hope and complete trust in You.

Isaiah 64:8

O Lord, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You our potter; and all we are the work of Your Hand.

Inspiration.

God is our Creator, He made us, so He is potter and we are the clay.

As the Holy Scriptures says, ” And God formed man (humanity) of the dust of the ground, and breathed into His nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. Genesis 2:7

Prayer (for you)

Eternal Father in Heaven,

You are the only true and living God, and there is no other.

You are the Source and Sustainer of all life, and I praise and thank You for life, health, and strength, for Your loving kindness and tender mercies to me.

O Lord, I give You thanks and praise for creating me in Your Image, and also making a way for me to be saved in Your Eternal Kingdom.

Thank You for Your Infinite love, compassions and tender mercies.

I glorify, exalt and magnify You, and thank You for what You have done for me, and what You will do for me.

O Lord, I ask You to continue to be my life’s guide from day to day, and lead and direct me in the perfect and holy way.

The way that leads to life eternal through Jesus Christ, my Saviour and Redeemer.

Please be with me and my family today, and keep us safe under the shadow of Your Holy Wings.

Lamentations 3:22

Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not.

Inspiration.

Throughout the Holy Bible we are admonished that the Creator God is always there for us, and He watches over us with loving care.

God is always there to help and to guide us along life’s pathway.

We just have to seek Him, have faith in Him, trust in Him, and obey Him.

Prayer (for you)

O Holy God,

The Creator of Heaven and earth, the seas, the springs of water, the animals, the vegetation, and humanity, and everything that exists.

I praise and give You thanks for all that You have done for me, and what You will do for me.

You are such a good God, Who is mighty to save and strong to deliver Your children from sin.

Thank You for Your Infinite and eternal love, Your compassions, Your tender mercies, Your loving watch care and protection.

O Lord, my faith, hope and trust is in You, the only true and living God.

Please help me to continue to stay on the straight and narrow pathway that leads to life eternal.

And trust and obey You now and forever.

As the hymn says, ” Trust and obey for there is no other way to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.”

O Lord, please help me trust You more, love You more, have more faith, and keep pressing on to glory, looking to You for guidance and direction in my life.

I honour, glorify and exalt You.

John 10:14-15

Jesus said, ” I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own.”

” As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.”

Inspiration.

Jesus willingly gave His life to save ours, so how can we think He would ever keep back from us anything that would truly benefit us or allow anything in our lives that doesn’t have some eternal purpose (Romans 8:32)?

Instead, we must always remember that He is the Good shepherd. He has all of our problems, pressures, and provisions under His control, and nothing we face is ever too difficult for Him to handle. So cast your cares on Him because you can be sure that He will help you.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for sending Jesus to be the “Lamb of God” the good Shepherd, Who gave His life to save us from the arch-enemy of our soul.

Lord God, You gave everything in order to save us from sin and destruction.

As Romans 8:32 says,

He Who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Thank You Lord God, Lord Jesus for what You have done for me, thank You for Your amazing grace and sacrifice of love to save humanity – to save me.

Lord Jesus, You are my Saviour, Redeemer, Intercessor, Advocate and the Good Shepherd Who protects and guides the sheep in the good and perfect way.

In the way that leads to life eternal through You, Lord Jesus.

I bring all my cares and concerns to You, and I ask You to take full control of everything for me, because I know that there is nothing that is too difficult for You to handle, and You have a solution to every issue.

Yes, there is victory in Jesus, my Saviour, Redeemer and my Good Shepherd, who takes care and protects His beloved sheep.

Philippians 4:6-7

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Inspiration.

The Bible tells us that we should not be anxious about anything, but instead we should pray about everything, making our concerns, our requests, our issues known to God.

And God will help us, show us what to do, and how to handle each situation that we encounter.

And give us His peace, the peace that only He can give and that surpasses all human understanding.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal Father,

I am so thankful for the privilege of prayer, when I can come to You with my concerns, my problems, any issue that I may be facing, and any requests that I may have.

O Lord, help me to always remember that I do not need to get anxious about anything, but instead I should bring my issues, my concerns, my problems, and my requests to You in prayer.

Because You will show me what to do, answer my requests because You know the best and perfect solution to every issue that I have.

O Lord, You see down the corridor of time, and there is nothing that is too hard, there is nothing that is impossible for You to take care of, or for You to do.

So at this time I bring every concern, issue or problem to You, and I humbly ask that You intervene for me in my situation.

I also bring all my requests to You at this time, and I ask that You do for me what is best.

Dear Lord, there are decisions that I have to make, please lead, guide and direct me in the good, perfect and best way, and in Your holy and perfect way.

O Lord, my complete faith, hope and trust is in You, so I ask You to show me, lead, guide and direct me in Your good and perfect way.

And guard my heart and my mind through Jesus Christ, my Saviour and my Redeemer.

I give You thanks and praise for Your peace that surpasses all human understanding.

I love and adore You.

John 14:6

Jesus said to His disciple Thomas, ” I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

Inspiration.

Jesus is the way back to the Creator God, our Heavenly Father.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

I give You thanks and praise for sending Jesus, Your Only Beloved Son, and my only Beloved Saviour to save me.

Thank You Lord Jesus, for being the “Lamb of God” Who takes away the sins of the world.

And for being the “way” for me to be reconciled back to my Creator God, and shedding Your precious blood to save me.

Lord Jesus, I also thank You for telling us the truth about salvation, and how to be saved, and become part of the family of God.

And I also thank You for the gift of eternal life through Your great sacrifice of love to save me.

I glorify, honour, magnify, exalt and lift You up – tell others of Your amazing saving grace.

O Lord, please be with me and my family today and I ask that You keep us safe in Your loving care and keeping.

John 6:35

Jesus says to His disciples, ” I am the bread of life, he who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.”

Inspiration.

Jesus gives eternal life to everyone who comes to Him – who accepts Him as their Saviour and Redeemer.

And His Holy Word satisfies our soul with words of holiness, encourages us, and guides us along the path of righteousness.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal God,

Thank You all that You have done to save me.

I am so glad that I am part of the family of God.

Thank You for sending Jesus to be my Saviour, Redeemer, Advocate, Intercessor and my Friend.

Thank You Lord Jesus, for coming to earth and paying the penalty for my salvation.

And for being the ” way, the truth, and the life”

O Lord Jesus, You are the only way to be saved, and You have the truth of what life is all about, and You give eternal life to those who accept You, believe in You, have faith in You, and confess their sins.

Thank You for making a way for me to be saved and be reconciled back to Your Father and my Father.

I thank You for Your loving watch care and protection.

Please be with me and my family and friends today, and keep us safe and secure under the shadow of Your Wings.

I ask You to please forgive me of every sin, iniquity and transgression.

And help me to live my life pleasing to You every day.

O Lord, You are such a good God, You are Mighty to save and strong to deliver Your people from sin.

I magnify, exalt and I love and adore You.
