Romans 6:23
The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Devotion,
Everyone is a sinner who needs Jesus.
We cannot pay the penalty for our sins, no good work can earn us eternal life.
Our only hope for eternal life is to receive Jesus as our Saviour.
Jesus paid the penalty for our sins on Calvary’s cross, and if we accept Him as Saviour, we will receive the gift of eternal life.
Prayer (for you)
Heavenly Father,
How wonderful to know that I have a Saviour, Lord Jesus, Who has paid the penalty for my sins on Calvary’s cross.
The Holy Bible says, ” without the shedding of blood there is no remission. (forgiveness of sins.) Hebrews 9:22b
So Jesus is the ” Lamb of God” Who takes away the sins of the world.
And if I accept Him as my Saviour, confess and ask for forgiveness, I will be saved from sin.
And I will receive God’s gift of eternal life though Jesus Christ, my Saviour.
But those who do not receive Jesus as their Saviour will get eternal death.
So we have a choice to make – accept Jesus and receive eternal life.
Praise the Lord! Hallelujah!
God is good and His tender mercies endures forever and ever.
And He loves me with an Infinite love, and wants me to be part of the family of God and give me the gift of eternal life.
And I get to see Jesus, my Saviour when He returns soon, in all His power and magnificent glory as King of kings and Lord of lords.
What a wonderful day that will be.
O Lord, please help me be ready and stay ready because You could come at anytime.
I love and adore You and bless Your Holy name.
Praise God from Who all blessing flow.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Hymn
I hear the Saviour say.
Thy strength indeed is small.
Child of weakness, watch and pray.
Find in Me thine all in all.
Chorus.
Jesus paid it all, all to Him I owe.
Sin has left a crimson stain.
He washed it white as snow.
2.
Lord, now indeed I find.
Thy power, and Thine alone.
Can change the leper’s spots.
And melt the heart of stone.
3.
Since nothing good have I.
Where-by Thy grace to claim.
I’ll wash my garments white.
In the blood of Calvary’s Lamb.
4.
And when before the Throne.
I stand in Him complete.
I’ll lay my trophies down.
All at Jesus’ feet.
Yes, Jesus paid the penalty for our sins.
And we have a very important choice to make.
Choose Jesus and live eternally.
Glory! Hallelujah! Amen.
