John 16:33
Jesus said, ” These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
Devotion.
As Jesus was about to be crucified on the cruel cross. He told His disciples to be at peace because He would be resurrected from the dead on the third day, and defeat our last enemy which is death.
And Jesus was victorious and triumphant over death, He was raised from the dead on the third day by our Creator God.
So let us continue to have faith, confidence, trust and the blessed hope in Jesus’ ability to take care of every and any situation that we have.
Only Jesus is able to do for us what no one else can do.
Jesus is able – absolutely nothing is impossible for God, for Jesus to do.
Prayer (for you)
Eternal Father,
Thank You for sending Jesus to be my Saviour, my Redeemer.
How loving, compassionate You are, Lord God Almighty.
Thank You, Lord Jesus for coming to earth, dwelling among us and showing us the way, the truth and the life.
Because You are the way – the only way to be saved, be part of the family of God, and receive God’s gift of eternal life.
And You are the truth – You tell us the truth about what life is all about, and You are the life – eternal comes through You, and only You.
Lord Jesus, I give You thanks and praise for all that You have done for me, what You are doing, and what You will continue to do to make sure I am saved, part of the family of God, and receive God’s gift of eternal life.
Thank You for Your great sacrifice of love to save me from sin.
O Lord, how wonderful to know that You can do anything, You are the Creator God, and nothing, absolutely nothing is impossible for You to do.
And although tribulations, trials, storms of life may come, how wonderful to know that Jesus cares for me, and He will take care of everything, and give me His peace.
O Lord Jesus, I will bring everything to You in prayer, and tell You my concerns, tell You things that I cannot tell anyone else, because I know You love and care for me, and will help me to be an overcomer, just as You are.
Thank You for the peace that You give to me.
