Devotion.

When John the Baptist saw Jesus he recognized Him as the Lamb of God, the Saviour and He said,  ” Behold the Lamb of God”

Prayer.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for sending Jesus to be the “Lamb of God” and our Saviour and Redeemer.

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for being the “Lamb of God” Who takes away the sins of the entire world

Before You came to earth, a lamb without blemish had to be sacrificed for our sins.

But, then You came as the ” Lamb of God”  Who takes away our sins.

Lord Jesus, You died, You shed Your precious blood on Calvary cross for our salvation.

Now we do not need to sacrifice a lamb – use a lamb’s to atone for our sins.

Because You are the ” Lamb of God”, You paid the ultimate price for our sins, when You died on Calvary’s cross.

I thank You for Your sacrifice of love to save and redeem me from sin and destruction.

Yes, John the Baptist was right, You are the ” Lamb of God” and our Saviour, Redeemer, Advocate, Intercessor, Good Shepherd and our Friend.

To God be the glory great things He has done for me, for humanity to save us from the arch-enemy of our souls who is trying to destroy us.

O Lord, I give You thanks and praise for Your salvation so rich and free to whoever comes to You seeking to be saved, redeemed and become part of the family of God.

I love and adore You Lord God, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Hymn.

Just as I am, without one plea.

But that Thy blood was shed for me.

And that Thou bid’st me come to Thee.

O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

2.

Just as I am, thou wilt receive.

Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve.

Because Thy promise I believe.

O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Yes, I come to You, Lord Jesus.

I accept You as my Saviour.

O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Amen.
