1 John 4:14-15
This is the confidence that we have in God, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
Devotion.
” Our confidence in prayer is not based on our earnestness or passion, but on our relationship with our Creator God. We have unshakable assurance in every circumstance of life because of His power, wisdom, and love. (Matt 19:26). We can confromt every difficulty with confidence because the Lord has promised us the victory when we call upon Him in faith and obey Him. ” Quote.
Prayer (for you)
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your goodness and compassions to me.
O Lord, You are ” my help in ages past and my hope for years to come.”
I give You thanks and praise for what You have already done for me, what You will do to keep me on the straight and narrow way that leads to life eternal.
My faith, hope and trust is in You, O Lord Almighty.
And I am so glad to be part of the family of God through Jesus Christ, my Saviour.
O Lord Jesus, I bring every concern and problem to You, because my confidence is in You, because You have the solution to every issue and problem.
So I humbly ask You to continue to lead and guide me and provide for me in Your good and godly way.
Lord, You have the wisdom, foreknowledge and You know what is best, when is the best time, best way because You see down the corridor of time.
Lord God, I leave everything in Your loving Hands, because my confidence, my hope, faith and trust is in You, and You alone.
Lord Jesus, thank You for the victory that comes through You.
I love and adore You.
In Jesus’ name, I pray with thanksgiving. Amen.
