Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Devotion.
God’s thoughts and plans for us are always to give us good, and to save us from sin and evil, to give us a future, give us His peace, and to lead us in the way that leads to life eternal through Jesus Christ, our Saviour.
Even though sometimes we may have problems and trials, due to the fact that we live in a sinful, wicked and corrupt world, yet we can be assured that the Lord is on our side, so we can have hope for the future, because of God’s loving kindness and tender mercies toward us.
The Lord will take care of everything for us, so let us patiently wait on Him, have faith and trust in Him and we will be victorious in the end.
Prayer (for you)
Eternal Father,
I come to You through Jesus Christ, Your Only Beloved Son and my Only Beloved Saviour.
I praise and adore You and bless Your Holy name.
How great You are, You are Mighty to save us from sin, evil and destruction.
Thank You for Your amazing grace and Plan of Salvation.
And for sending Jesus to pay the penalty for our sins.
O Lord Jesus, I believe in You and I accept You as my personal Saviour and Lord of my life.
I confess my sins and I humbly ask You to forgive me and cleanse me from all unrighteousness.
O Lord, thank You for Your wonderful thoughts toward me, to give me Your peace, to give me hope and a future.
A future in Heavenly places with You, and to be part of the family of God, and inherit eternal life.
I give You all the thanks and praise that You and only You deserve, for Your salvation so rich and free, and for Your loving kindness and tender mercies.
Lord, You know my needs and I know that You will provide for me, please help me to be encouraged as I wait on You, to do for me what is in my best interests.
I love and adore You.
