Philippians 4:8-9

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whenever things are pure, whatever are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and it there is anything praiseworthy – meditate on these things.

The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Devotion.

If we dwell on sinful, negative things, our thinking process will degenerates.

But if we fill our minds with the Holy and acceptable things of God, our thinking process changes and we begin to decern what is good, holy, righteous, the truth, and we will learn to live in accordance with God’s will – His Holy ways.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal Father in Heaven,

Thank You for Your Holy Scriptures that gives me strength for today and hope for tomorrow, and encourages me as I journey along the Christian pathway.

I want to focus on You, on Jesus, on glory, and not on things of this world that is passing away.

Please help me to think on pure, holy, lovely, noble, things of good report, just and praiseworthy.

I humbly ask that You guide me in Your Holy ways, so that I can be pleasing to You in every way.

So that the God of peace and Jesus Christ, the peacemaker will be with me.

Thank You for Infinite love and tender mercies to me.

I love and adore You.

In Jesus’ name, I pray with thanksgiving. Amen.

Colossians 3:2

Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.

Devotion.

Our minds are constantly processing information. And what we think affects us more than we realize, because who we are today is the result of what we have been thinking about these past years.

That is why Christians are admonished to focus our thoughts on the things that honour the Lord – because God’s goal is to change us into the likeness of Christ and that transformation begins in our minds. Quote by Charles Stanley.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal Father,

I need Your Holy blessings, Your guidance, Your forgiveness, Your protection each and every moment of every day.

Thank You for Your Plan of Redemption that saves me from sin, and will also vindicate You to the entire Universe.

And will show that You are indeed a good God, a God of Infinite love, loving kindness, compassion, justice and tender mercies.

And that You are the only true and living God, a  Holy and Righteous God, and no sin can come into Your Holy Presence.

Because of Your Infinite love for us, You made a way for me to saved from sin and destruction.

You sent Jesus to pay the penalty for my sin, and for all humanity.

What a wonderful God, You are, Mighty and strong to save.

O Lord, please help me think, to focus on heavenly, eternal things, focus on glory, and not on the things of this world that is passing away.

Lord, You know what my needs are from day to day, and I know that You will provide for me, so I do not need to worry or fret about anything.

Lord, I claim Your promises that You will always be there for me and  You will provide for my every need according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

So I will set my mind on You and not on any problems or issues, instead I will bring everything to You in prayer, knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that my transformation – my renewed mind is in progress.

And my salvation is assured through Jesus, my Saviour.

I give You thanks, adoration and praise.

Philippians 3:14

I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Devotion.

Let us keep pressing on to God, to Jesus, the Heavenly call and to glory land.

The Christian life is not a sprint, it is a marathon so we have to keep pressing on in order to win the prize of eternal life.

Never give up, ask God for strength from day to endure to the end.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

I need You every hour as I journey along the narrow pathway that leads to You and to life eternal.

Please help me when I am weak, give me Your strength from day to day.

O Lord, my great desire is to see You face to face, my Creator God, and my Saviour, Jesus.

So I humbly ask for Your continued guidance and direction to live my life pleasing to You in all my ways.

Yes, Lord I will press on because there is a goal to reach,  a prize to win – the upward call of Jesus Christ, and receive the gift of eternal life, through Jesus’ great sacrifice of love for me.

Please continue to help me to persevere, and never give up, so that I can be part of the family of God and receive God’s gift of eternal life through Jesus.

1 John 5:14-15

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will,  He hears us.

And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

Devotion.

We can have total confidence in God, in Jesus because we have a personal relationship with Him

And we can have the assurance, the confidence that when we pray, God hears our prayers, and He will answer with His best for us.

God knows everything and He sees, He understand things that we do not know or understand.

So let us trust in the Lord with all our heart, soul and mind, and always seek Him in prayer.

Prayer (for you)

Thank You for the privilege of prayer, when I can communicate with the God of the Universe, Jesus Christ, my Saviour and tell You everything, anything that is on my mind, and You hear my every word.

How wonderful to know that You are always there to help, to guide, and to show me things that I do not know or understand.

And You will guide me in the way that leads to life eternal through Jesus Christ.

O Lord, please continue to be my life’s guide as I journey along and draw closer to You, and to glory land.

I thank You for the victory that I have in You, Lord Jesus.

I look forward with great anticipation to the great day when I will see You, my Saviour face to face.

Now my faith looks up to You, but soon and very soon I will literally see You – face to face in all Your power and magnificent glory.

O Lord, please increase my faith and help me to endure to the end.

Because Your Holy Scriptures says, ” those who endure to the end will be saved.”

We serve a loving, good, gracious, compassionate God, Who loves us with an everlasting and eternal love.

Let us give Him thanks for His goodness and tender mercies to us every moment of every day.

God is with us and God is for us now and forever.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal Father,

I need Your blessings and Your guidance each and every moment of every day.

Thank You for always being there for me, to lead and direct me as I journey along the Christian way.

I give You thanks and praise for Your loving kindness, tender mercies and compassions that endures forever and ever.

I will seek You with all my heart, soul and mind, so that my personal relationship with You will grow stronger and stronger each and every day.

Lord Jesus, please forgive me of all my sins and unrighteousness and cover me with Your Garment of Salvation and Your Robe of righteousness.

Please be with me and my family today, and continue to lead us in the good and godly way that is pleasing to You.

O Lord, I surely want to be pleasing to You now and forever.

Psalms 119:11

Your Word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You.

Devotion.

Many Christians today do not experienced. the power and encouragement available to them through memorizing Scripture.

When we ” hide and store” God’s Holy Word in our hearts and minds, it remains always available to help and strengthen us in tough times.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal Father,

You are God, the only true and living God and there is no other, but You.

Thank You another day to seek You through prayer and Your Holy Scriptures.

I come to You with a humble and contrite heart, and I ask that You be with me every moment of today.

Keep me and my family safe and secure under the shadow of Your Holy Wings.

I give You thanks and praise for Your Holy Scriptures that give me strength for today and hope for tomorrow.

O Lord, revive me by Your Holy Scriptures, and keep me on the straight and narrow way that leads to You – life eternal through Jesus Christ, my Saviour and Redeemer.

O Lord, I want to experience the power and encouragement that is available to me in Your Holy Scriptures, so help me to hide and store (memorize) Your Holy Scripture Words in my heart.

So that when the trials, the storms of life come, I will have encouragement and hope from Your Scriptures.

Here are a few examples of encouraging Scriptures.

1. Jesus said, “I will never leave you or forsake you.”

2. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.

3. Be anxious about nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication, let your requests be made known to God.

4.And the peace of God will guard your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

5. Jesus said, “Let not your heart be troubled, you believe in God believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions. I go to  to prepare a place for you, and if I go, I will come again to receive you, so that where I am there you may be also.”

6. God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

7. If you confess your sins, Jesus is faithful and just to forgive you of all your sins, and cleanse you from all unrighteousness.

8. Cast all your cares on Jesus for He cares for you.

9. Jesus said, ” I love you with an everlasting love, and with loving kindness I have drawn you.”

10. Whosoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

11. Seek me with all your heart, soul and mind and you will find me.

12. My God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

13. Those who dwell in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

14. Jesus said, ” Therefore, I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and body more than clothing.”

15. ” Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not more value than they?

16.” Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”

17. Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near, let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts, and return unto the Lord, and He will abundantly pardon.

18. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

19. In all your ways acknowledge the Lord and He shall direct your paths.

20. God loves us with an everlasting and eternal love, and with loving kindness He has drawn us to Himself.

Revelation 4:11

You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power; for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created.

Devotion.

Our Creator God is more than worthy to receive all our praise and adoration. He created us and everything that exists, He is the only true and living God.

All other gods are idols made with things that the Creator God created.

As we see His holiness, power, majesty, greatness, experience His Infinite love, justice and tender mercies,  let us glorify Him, thank Him, praise Him, and give Him all the glory that God and God alone deserves.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

Holy, Holy, Holy, You are.

I thank You for another day to seek You in prayer.

You are my God, the God of the Universe, the Cosmos, the Almighty God, the Great ” I Am.”

As I look at the wonders of Your creation, the sun, moon, stars, the animals, the vegetation, everything that exists and humanity in Your Image and after Your Likeness.

I am amazed at Your power, majesty, Your Infinite love for us, Your creation.

You provide for our every need, and You have provided for our  salvation from sin.

And made a way for us to be part of the family of God and receive  Your gift of eternal life through Jesus, our Saviour.

O Lord God, Lord Jesus, I love and adore You and bless Your Holy Name.

Praise be to the Father God, the Son, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, the Comforter.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

For the Lord Himself will descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of an Archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.

Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them to meet the Lord in the air; and thus we shall always be with the Lord.

Therefore comfort one another with these words.

Devotion.

Jesus will return to earth soon to receive those of us who have accepted Him as our Saviour and Lord.

He will return with a shout, the trumpet of God, and the voice of an Archangel, and those Christians who have died will be resurrected back to life by our Creator God.

And the Christians who are alive when Jesus returns will be caught up together with the resurrected Christians, and we will all meet Jesus in the air.

And so we shall ever be with Lord Jesus.

The Bible tells us that we should comfort each other with these  words.

Prayer (for you)

Our Father in Heaven,

Holy, Holy, Holy You are.

What a Mighty God You are, Mighty to save and strong to deliver Your creation from sin and destruction.

I praise and adore You, magnify, glorify and exalt You, because You are the only true and living God, and there is no other, but You.

I worship You on this Your Holy Sabbath day, a day of joy and gladness.

Thank You for Your Plan of Salvation so rich and free to anyone who comes to You in faith, believing in You, that You are God and You are a rewarder of those who diligently seek You.

O Lord, I have come to seek You in prayer with all my heart, soul and mind.

I give You thanks for what You have done for me and will continue to do to make sure I am saved, I am part of the family of God, washed in the fountain and cleansed by the precious blood of Jesus, my Saviour.

O Lord Jesus, I look forward with great anticipation to that great day when You return to receive Your redeemed of the earth.

Lord Jesus, I want to be among Your redeemed, so I humbly ask that You forgive me of all my sins, and please continue to lead and guide me in Your holy and godly ways, and help me to endure to the end.

So that I will be saved, be part of the family of God, receive Your gift of eternal life and get to live in Your Eternal Kingdom.

Thank You for Your great sacrifice of love to save me.

I love and adore You and bless Your Holy Name.

John 17:3

Jesus said, ” And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, Whom You have sent.

Devotion.

As soon as we accept Jesus Christ as our Saviour, we have the wonderful, and awesome privilege of having a own close personal relationship with the Creator God, and our Saviour and Redeemer

What a wonderful privilege that we have to be able to communicate, talk to the Creator God of the Universe, and with our Saviour, Lord Jesus through prayer.

And learn and understand more about Him by reading and studying the Holy Scriptures.

Once we accept Jesus as our Saviour, we are now part of the family of God, and will receive God’s gift of eternal life.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal Father,

Holy, Holy, Holy, You are.

I praise, love and adore You, the Almighty Creator God.

How wonderful to know You, the only true and living God.

God of the Universe and of the Cosmos.

I look forward to that wonderful day when You will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

A time when there will be no more sorrow, pain, sadness, sickness, disease, death, no more sin, for the former things have passed away.

And at that time, Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

There will be peace, glorious peace, God’s goodness, Infinite love will cover us all – all the redeemed of the earth will enjoy eternal life without sin, sinners, wickedness, corruption or trouble.

And we will have a loving and vibrant relationship with God and Jesus.

And we will wing our way to see the entire Universe and the Cosmos.

And we will worship our Creator God, just like the Holy Angels do, saying, ” Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God, the Almighty.

Heaven and earth are praising You, Creator God.

God’s will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

What a great time that will be, let us all get ready and stay ready because Jesus, You are coming soon.

And God’s will – will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

John 16:33

Jesus said, ” These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

Devotion.

As Jesus was about to be crucified on the cruel cross. He told His disciples to be at peace because He would be resurrected from the dead on the third day, and defeat our last enemy which is death.

And Jesus was victorious and triumphant over death, He was raised from the dead on the third day by our Creator God.

So let us continue to have faith, confidence, trust and the blessed hope in Jesus’ ability to take care of every and any situation that we have.

Only Jesus is able to do for us what no one else can do.

Jesus is able – absolutely nothing is impossible for God, for Jesus to do.

Prayer (for you)

Eternal Father,

Thank You for sending Jesus to be my Saviour, my Redeemer.

How loving, compassionate You are, Lord God Almighty.

Thank You, Lord Jesus for coming to earth, dwelling among us and showing us the way, the truth and the life.

Because You are the way – the only way to be saved, be part of the family of God, and receive God’s gift of eternal life.

And You are the truth – You tell us the truth about what life is all about, and You are the life – eternal comes through You, and only You.

Lord Jesus, I give You thanks and praise for all that You have done for me, what You are doing, and what You will continue to do to make sure I am saved, part of the family of God, and receive God’s gift of eternal life.

Thank You for Your great sacrifice of love to save me from sin.

O Lord, how wonderful to know that You can do anything, You are the Creator God, and nothing, absolutely nothing is impossible for You to do.

And although tribulations, trials, storms of life may come, how wonderful to know that Jesus cares for me, and He will take care of everything, and give me His peace.

O Lord Jesus, I will bring everything to You in prayer, and tell You my concerns, tell You things that I cannot tell anyone else, because I know You love and care for me, and will help me to be an overcomer, just as You are.

Thank You for the peace that You give to me.

Praise the Lord!
