2 Corinthians 12:9

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness”

Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Devotion

The Apostle Paul had some kind of infirmity, and He prayed to the Lord that this thing might depart from him.

But the Lord Jesus said to him, ” My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”

Therefore, regardless of our situation, our infirmities, our problems, you can trust this principle below.

Whatever brings us to Jesus for help and healing,  in weakness, in sickness, will be our greatest decision and will lead to success and victory.

Jesus’ strength is made perfect in our weakness.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Are we weak and heavy laden.

Cumbered with a load of care?

Thou will find a solace there.

Romans 8:18

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Devotion.

” As children of the Sovereign God, we are never victims of our circumstances. Although we may go through trials and problems, we can be confident that the Lord has a purspose in them and will show His glory through them.

That does not mean that we don’t really hurt when these trials and problems come our way.

But instead we declare, ” the Lord God’s blessings are worth the sacrifice and obedience. We cling in hope in the Lord and eagerly expect the rewards that accompany our faith. ” Quote Charles Stanley.

And knowing that we have the blessed hope of Jesus’ return, when there will be no more sin and suffering.

And the Creator God will make all things new.

So let us rejoice and be glad in the Lord.

Jesus is coming soon.

2 Corinthians 5:7

For we walk by faith, not by sight.

Devotion.

We walk the Christian journey by faith in God and faith in Jesus, our Saviour.

But one day soon we will see Jesus face to face in all His power and magnificent glory, when He returns for His redeemed of the earth.

So let us endure to the end in our pilgrim journey, looking to Jesus, the Author and Finisher (developer) of our faith.

Prayer (for you)

Heavenly Father,

You are the great Creator God.

I give You thanks and praise for Your goodness, tender mercies and compassions that are new every morning

I have come to seek You in prayer – to bring all my concerns to You, because You care about me.

O Lord, how wonderful to know that whatever I am concerned about,, whether a minor or major issue, You are also concerned about.

So I bring every need, every anxiety, every issue, every problem to You at this time.

And I ask for Your intervention in my situation that I am dealing with at this time.

O Lord, my faith, hope and trust is in You because I know that You have the solution to every issue.

You see down the corridor of time and You know what is best, and the right solution to every problem.

So at this time I leave my situation in Your loving Hands.

Knowing that You will do for me what is good, perfect and in my best interests.

O Lord, please increase my faith in You.

And help me to keep on the narrow way that leads to life eternal through Jesus Christ, my Saviour and Redeemer.

I love and adore You.

In Jesus’ Holy name, I pray with thanksgiving. Amen.

Thou Lamb of Calvary.

Saviour Divine.

Now hear me while I pray.

Take all my guilt away.

And make me from this day.

Be wholly Thine.

May Thy rich grace impart.

Strength to my fainting heart.

My zeal inspire.

As Thou hast died for me.

O may my love to Thee.

Pure, warm and changeless be.

A living fire.

3.

While life’s dark maze I thread.

And griefs around me spread.

Be Thou my guide.

Bid darkness turn to day.

Wipe sorrow’s tears away.

Nor let me ever stray.

From Thee aside.

Faith in Jesus is the victory.

The victory that overcomes the world.

Amen.
