Colossians 1:27
Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Devotion.
” In the Old testament times, the Holy Spirit came upon chosen men and women of God to enable them to accomplish His will. But no one ever imagined that He would actually take up residence in Christian believers, as He does today.” Quote by Charles Stanley.
Prayer (for you)
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for sending Jesus to be my Saviour and Redeemer.
Thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit, Who convicts us of sins, leads us to repentance, and teach and guide us in the way everlasting.
And help us to repent and be converted so that our sins will be blotted out – never more to be remembered.
O Lord, You have done so much for our salvation from sin and destruction,
I give You thanks and praise for Your Infinite love, compassions and tender mercies that are new every morning.
O Lord Jesus, please live out Your Holy and Righteous life within me.
Because in You, I have the hope of glory, the blessed hope of Your soon return to receive me and all Your redeemed.
Those who have accepted You as their Saviour, and are redeemed by Your precious sacrifice on Calvary’s cross.
I praise, adore and glorify You.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Hymn.
When all my labours and trials are o’er.
And I am safe on that beautiful shore.
Just to be near the dear Lord, I adore.
Will through the ages be glory for me.
Chorus.
O that will be glory for me.
Glory for me, glory for me.
When by His grace.
I shall look on His Face.
That will be glory, be glory for me.
2.
When by the gift of His Infinite grace.
I am accorded in Heaven a place.
Just to be there and to look on His Face.
Will through the ages be glory for me.
3.
Friends will be there I have loved long ago.
Joy like a river around me will flow.
Yet, just a smile from my Saviour, I know.
Will through the ages be glory for me.
Praise the Lord.
When I see Jesus, it will be glory for me.
Yes, glory for me.
Amen.
