2 Corinthians 2:14
The Apostle Paul says,
” Thanks be to God Who always leads us to triumph in Christ.”
Devotion.
The Apostle Paul does not mean to say that everything always turn out the way we want it to in this sinful world.
But in Jesus Christ we are always on the way to victory. Setbacks happens, but they are never final, because with the Lord we will certainly triumph in the end.
Prayer (for you)
Heavenly Father,
I worship, praise and adore You and bless Your Holy Name.
Thank You for all that You have done for me, what You are doing to make sure I am saved, sanctified and be part of Your Heavenly family.
Lord Jesus, thank You for Your great sacrifice of love to redeem me from sin, and to lead me in the way of righteousness.
Please increase my faith in You, and help me to keep looking to You for help and guidance as I journey along this pilgrim way.
O Lord, I know that setbacks, trials, problems will come to everyone in this sinful and corrupt world.
But for those of us who have our faith, hope and trust in You, we know that we will overcome, we will be victorious in Jesus.
Praise be to God, Who will give me the victory through Jesus Christ, my Saviour.
So regardless of what may happen, I will keep pressing on to glory, looking, trusting, hoping and having faith in You.
I thank You for all Your goodness and Infinite love to me.
And I worship and adore You and bless Your Holy name.
Praise the Lord!
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Hymn.
Now thank we all our God.
With heart and hands and voices.
Who wondrous things hath done.
In Whom His world rejoices.
Who, from our mothers arms.
Has blessed us on our way.
With countless gifts of love.
And still is ours today.
2.
O may this bounteous God.
Through all our life be near us.
With ever joyful hearts.
And blessed peace to cheer us.
And keep us in His grace.
And guide us when perplexed.
And keep us from all ills.
In this world, and the next.
3.
All praise and thanks to God.
The Father now be given.
The Son, and Him Who reigns.
With them in highest heaven.
The One eternal God.
Whom earth and heaven adore.
For thus it was, is now.
And shall be evermore.
Praise the Lord! Amen!
